Lord Buddha is all seeing. Oh Lord show us the path to peace, have no hatred in our hearts but only love for all living things. Live life with compassion and love all living things with kindness.
@Etimos In the Diamond Sutra it states that words are themselves merely expressions and hold no true substance. It states that we must use words in order to communicate. The term "lord" is merely a term of reverence i.e. Venerable, Bhante, Phra etc... It is not to be meant as godly but more a thanks to a savior of sorts, and illuminator. I doubt such a word would even perturb the unshakable.
@bamiyanhustle: The Buddha said you should rely on yourself; to see and understand for yourself. There is nothing he asks you to believe and he was not giving us any theories or philosophy.
Buddha neither affirmed nor denied the existence of soul and God, because he thought these were fruitless questions. People can always argue about beliefs, but they cannot argue about what they find in themselves so the Buddha teaches us how to look.
The most peaceful religion in the world.

@PoppyTt
Mantras have various different pronunciations and some times slight variance in meaning across regions. The essence is the same.

Sangha refers to the community of monks, or more broadly all followers of the Buddhist path.... not family/society.
Dhamma refers to the teachings of the buddha in this context.... Buddhism is nontheistic, so there is no "divine law" as such.

@lysander79 actually Sangha means a group.

I am fairly certain that a buddha would object to being referred to as 'lord' or spoken of with godly reverence. He was just a man, like any other.

" May all beings be free from suffering and pain."
Believe it or not, that line just made me cry. I am so happy that there are still people like you in this cruel world of ours. You are a great person!
May all beings achieve nibbana as soon as possible!!
