YOUTUBE prevents me from posting the link to various papers. But, if anyone without a backround in medical sciences is interested to read for themselves why it would be criminal to have government push naturopathic medicine, please look up any of the following:
1)"Naturopathy, Pseudoscience, and Medicine: Myths and Fallacies vs Truth
Kimball C Atwood, IV, MD"
2)A Close Look at Naturopathy - Stephen Barrett, M.D.
3) any reputable medical journal on earth making use of clinical trials
Post the source of your statistics if you can (as far as I remember they seem accurate, but I would like to read further). Despite my interest in these findings, they are irrelevent to the topic of naturopathic medicine. If you compare the % of validated conventional medicines to the % of validated naturopathic "medicines" then you would be on your way to making an argument. Until then, here's more on why this is atrocious:
Promoting pseudo-science just prevented Joyce from getting this left-leaning scientist's vote. This is insane. Miss Murray, I suggest you investigate the world of Naturopathic "Medicine" before vouching for it.
Studies have found only 10-15% of conventional medical treatments have been scientifically validated and over 60% of conventional medical treatments cause harm or at best do nothing! These numbers by the way, come from conventional medical journals.
