you need a 128mb of ram or more to be able to have a more detailed plane or else, like me, have a 64mb RAM and have a plane that has VERY LITTLE actual texture.

you hit the runway way too hard, try coming in at less of an angle, I know it's hard to judge, but it will make your landing much better.

I would get the accleration verison of the carriers, because I notice this the launch bar on my abacus jets does not go down, therefore you cannot lock into the catapult. The only thing you can do to take off like a catapult is get infront of the barrier, set your parking brake, and full power, then let go of the parking break. simviation has a good AI carrier works online as well, for you only though. Go to their site, go to search type AI carrier, Once downloaded, go ingame and press..

Shift-J(its the default button) You can place an entire fleet, or one carrier, you can have them moving or standing still. The decks work better imo then the Abacus carrier, plus its free. But agian you need to be able to put down your launch bar which I do notthink the abacus planes can do, because mine do not. The f-18 in acceleration, as do some freeware jets do.

plz help. i try and try to get the launch system to work but it wont. in the instructions it says to use shift x. but nothing. it doenst raise the blast sheild and whatever i do it wont launch. ive tried putting the parkingbrake on then takei off again but there isnt enough power

press shift+U to lower the launch bar, then press shift+I to engage the laung assistance (your front gear must be INSIDE the stripped red and white box)

at this point, add max MIL power, you don't need afterburner with the assisted launch, and pres shift+space bar to launch.

ok, i found out how to put the tail hook down=) becuase i have the expansion pack Acceleration, it made the tail hook Shift+Q.

now i cant find the aircraft carriers in free flight. i type in FD5A, but nothing come up. any help available?

you have to out the abacus flight deck into the scenery library.

go to settings - scenery library or someting like that - add area - choose in the FS folder Abacus flight deck.

i have this game, when i tried to land on the carrier, the tailhook DO NOT CATCH THE WIRE every single time i land for some reason, i had my air speed below 150 knots,and i saw with my own 2 EYES that the tail hook caught the second wire, but i didn't stop and i bolt????? Ok sorry for late response, but is 3wirex installed correctly? Do you have FD4 or an earlier verison on your computer? If so get rid of it, that will mess it up, last question, is your tail hook down?

when you are on the cat, ensure that your tailhook is up, your parking brake is set to ON, and your wings are not folded. Press (default) Shift X and he should say cat launch approved. at this point go to 100% throttle and press shift x again. Your off into the blue!

im into commercial aviation, and i bought abacus's fly the airbus fleet and am very pleased with it. I chose that over wilcos airbus fleet. I think abacus is just has products that are both good and bad.

This is a pretty crappy add on. Sometimes when you're cleared to land on the Carrier, there's already another plane on the wires. Very poorly done, stay away from this product.
