I always love hearing how an artist comes to write a song. This song reminds me of old Burt Bacharach/Hal David stuff that Dionne Warwick recorded back in the '60's with the haunting piano piece and the melodies wound the way they are. This song was hell for me to learn to play, but I almost have it. Thanks so much for posting this!

Started listen to 'The Flowers' last week and I'm hooked. I love the way her vocals sound on this song especially the chorus and background parts. Should be a singles, we'll see.

I love this song I have listened to it 10 times already today. Amerie does not get the recognition that she deserves. I am so glad that the album is finally out I picked it up this morning. We do need to hear this song on the radio it's a hit!!!
