Don't Ask Don't Tell was a great policy. First off, your sexuality is your own business. Keep it to yourself. Also, some soldiers might feel uncomfortable if they are fighting alongside a homosexual. I don't think they should feel that way, but they do nonetheless.

Don't Ask Don't Tell was a great policy. First off, your sexuality is your own business. Keep it to yourself. Also, some soldiers might feel uncomfortable if they are fighting alongside a homosexual. I don't think they should feel that way, but they do nonetheless.

And secondly if other soldiers have a bad problem surely they are the ones that should have it sorted out, I mean why should legislation be in favour of those who are ignorant. And thridly, these soldiers are fighting for the kind of freedom that gay soldiers are stupidly not entitlted to in the U.S.

i served in the army, and i am happily married (yes with a woman) but i fought for all americans to have equal rights, freedom of ALL SORTS, and it just feels like an insult when the fanatics, or right-winders try to decide who i placed my life on the line for. i fought for all americans regardless of color, or sexuality. if you dont like the homosexual community you dont have too, but it isnt your job to judge people, its supposed to be gods job, and he doesnt need you trying to do it for him.
