I thought I dreamed that Zack and Lisa kissed because it was never mentioned again and I don't think they re-aired the episode. I don't know if it was too controversial at the time because of the inter-racial angle or what but that would have been an interesting storyline to explore. Poor Screech would have been heartbroken!
Yes they should have kept this relationship going. I hated that they didn't explore it further on the show. I was always pro-Zack and Lisa. This was my favorite episode of the series.

Also, I think Zack would have found Lisa to be rather high-maintenance as a girlfriend, since she wanted men to cater to her expensive tastes.
