Americans need healthcare. It is extremely sad and pathetic that there is a portion of the public who do not understand this. The insurance and pharmaceutical companies have had their chance and failed miserably to be decent, ethical industries. A public option forces these demon companies into caring about patients instead of profits. If they fail, it's because of their greed. Every civilized country in the world has healthcare for its people. Hopefully one day the US will become civilized.
