@TheKeybladeWar I'd go for the new 4gb one. It has everything the highest end model has but just no glossy finish and a smaller hard drive. It is internal though. They still have a bay at the bottom for a hard drive so that means they will come out with larger ones in the future.

The actuall truth is, the 360 is NOT junk, the equipment is not JUNK. Every system has "different" equipment, that one is better looking than the other doesn't mean anything. To me, it matter not, its still expensive hardware, important hardware and people toss it around like its another penny. Do you know how much trouble these guys go to by designing a machine that makes fully working equipment? and they are even nice enough to pack it for you.

Yes they care, every hardware has a problem, with the 360 its the RRoD. But its not entirely the consoles fault, the mayor problem here is the user, does he have it in a ventilated area? how much does he use it? the jasper is something to reduce the chance of getting it.

Sorry for not replying in some time, my 3 year old modem broke and had to get a new one from my lazy ISP. You got me at the part where its easy to fix and they can fix it, but FYI I'm not a fanboy, that I use my 360 more than my PS3 or my wii has nothing to do with that. I mean, the 360 has ALL of my favorite games, except for MGS4 and Mod-Nation Racers. Also, I've been through 2 yellow lights and a broken wii drive, even though I use a hdd to play games on my wii, not a disc was used.

Three days ago my jasper RRoD'd, but one hour later I was happily playing with it again with my new internal fan with triple the speed of the fan it came with and I made sure RRoD doesn't come back. They do RRoD so I stand corrected, but they are VERY easy to fix! I was shocked as to how simple that HUGE problem is. How much money it cost me? $5(a few sodas) and an hour of my time lol. I'll see if I can fix my PS3 as well.

Dude, I changed the fans to PREVENT overheating, do you have a slow brain or something? of course changing the fans doesn't fix RRoD. It does have something to do with the motherboard, its either the xclamps, blown out chips or the thermal paste. In my case it was the thermal paste and xclamps. The one that never goes away is the blown out chip, you'd need to get a new motherboard. Also, I've been playing for days now, a lot more than usual and thanks to the fans its not even warm.
@RGInquisitor Just because its hot doesn't mean you can get rrod. It can happen when its very cold. In fact, you have the same death rate as before even putting in those fans.
No, my rate hasn't changed. In my case RRoD has happened because of "over-heating". But on other cases, like my cousins husband, his motherboard blew up, not entirely but the chips I mentioned earlier were fried. It was a Falcon and the Jasper can still overheat, though its improbable if you only use it 1-7 hours a day. The sole purpose of the Jasper is to prevent those blown out chips and reducing the chance of over-heating while its at it. Just like how I installed new fans.

But its not entirely the consoles fault, the mayor problem here is the user, does he have it in a ventilated area? how much does he use it? the jasper is something to reduce the chance of getting it.

There is still a problem and they can easily fix it, if they really cared they would fix it no matter how much it cost them. A GOOD DESIGN?!?! Stop being a fanboy, Have you seen the size of the brick? It shouldn't depend on the user weather or not it has internal issues, that is soley the companys fault. And no im not saying if it gets scratched then its not the owners fault because it is, i mean internally.

Sorry for not replying in some time, my 3 year old modem broke and had to get a new one from my lazy ISP. You got me at the part where its easy to fix and they can fix it, but FYI I'm not a fanboy, that I use my 360 more than my PS3 or my wii has nothing to do with that. I mean, the 360 has ALL of my favorite games, except for MGS4 and Mod-Nation Racers. Also, I've been through 2 yellow lights and a broken wii drive, even though I use a hdd to play games on my wii, not a disc was used.

Three days ago my jasper RRoD'd, but one hour later I was happily playing with it again with my new internal fan with triple the speed of the fan it came with and I made sure RRoD doesn't come back. They do RRoD so I stand corrected, but they are VERY easy to fix! I was shocked as to how simple that HUGE problem is. How much money it cost me? $5(a few sodas) and an hour of my time lol. I'll see if I can fix my PS3 as well.

@RGInquisitor When you have the rrod,ITS THERE IT WILL NOT GO AWAY.You just had the power cord in the wrong way or not in all the way so it gave you the red lights.Once you have it, there is nothing you can do to fix it besides sending it to microsoft when they dont even fix shit.Yes,towel trick does work,but for only 3-7 days before shitting the bed over and over until you melt the board.I think your bullshitting. Nobody has a ps3 AND a 360 break just like that.And not after 3 days. Stop lying.

You think I'm an idiot? You think I'll TRY to plug in the power cord in the wrong way? JESUS! who the hell does that!? Dude, its EASILY fixed, the towel trick is temporal fix, I'm not bullshitting. It CAN go away and you only send it to microsoft if your not too sure about yourself handling with the hardware. Want to know what I did? Changed the thermal paste, removed xclamps and replaced the fans with newer, better ones. I'm was working with my PS3 an hour ago but its a bit tricky

Dude, I changed the fans to PREVENT overheating, do you have a slow brain or something? of course changing the fans doesn't fix RRoD. It does have something to do with the motherboard, its either the xclamps, blown out chips or the thermal paste. In my case it was the thermal paste and xclamps. The one that never goes away is the blown out chip, you'd need to get a new motherboard. Also, I've been playing for days now, a lot more than usual and thanks to the fans its not even warm.

@RGInquisitor Just because its hot doesn't mean you can get rrod. It can happen when its very cold. In fact, you have the same death rate as before even putting in those fans.

No, my rate hasn't changed. In my case RRoD has happened because of "over-heating". But on other cases, like my cousins husband, his motherboard blew up, not entirely but the chips I mentioned earlier were fried. It was a Falcon and the Jasper can still overheat, though its improbable if you only use it 1-7 hours a day. The sole purpose of the Jasper is to prevent those blown out chips and reducing the chance of over-heating while its at it. Just like how I installed new fans.

That is true as my new Jasper has a falcon 175W power brick and has the 12.1A rating on the back of the console (12.1A = Jasper chipset)
And i have build in memory
