    死ねばいいのに。

  • wow this is so awesome

  • I show this to all my friends.

  • I LOL'd at this.

  • BODY TRIXX MOTHERFUCKER

  • wtf is this?

  • @pocketshiba Music from the person who created god.

  • @gogoku7 shit didnt create god

  • Thumbs up if u came here because Sun Ra was a man who really cared about people and was selfless and sincere. There aren't many people like him these days.

  • Thumps up if you come here for arceus remix ;)

  • sun ra era un gegnio

  • Даааааааааа, уж... Это вам не "Мурку" на роялях лабать!

  • Sun Ra Shoud Work With Lil B

  • @kole081 But Sun Ra is dead. And Lil B isn't very serious.

  • @PsychadelicBananas I Know Hes Dead,I Know Lil B Is Messing Around But At Least He Is Trying 2 Be Positive As Much As He Can.

  • dudes even sweating towards the end

  • !!! wow

  • Thanks for this great video. Yes he and John Gilmore had a major influence on John Coltrane.

  • This is shit.

  • Press "5" a lot :)

  • When he came out like Blacks and Whites alike could not take it or understand where in the hell this guy was coming from? He was not coming from anywhere he was trying to take people to where he was going. John Coltrane was heavily influenced by Sun Ra, no one was deeper than Sun Ra and no one was so futuristic in their approach. Also his music represent colors not just cosmos, vibrations and illusions - I still have a hard time processing his music.

  • @curtisb3000 also, it's been said that coltrane gave up drugs, alcohol and even tobacco partly because of ra's influence.

  • he is demonstrating the chaos of the cosmos.... This music is a good representation of the present day world here on earth.... IT LOOKS AND SOUNDS JUST LIKE THIS>>>watch the news, walk outside and you will feel chaos

  • ROFL!!!

  • I can only imagine the pure chaos if Sun Ra met Jerry Lee Lewis.

  • Why.... I just spent a week with the Army Blues in Winchester, then I see this. Total opposite spectrums of what can happen with a jazz group.

  • I believe a man once said to Sun Ra "My six year old niece could play this music"

to which he replied "Yes, but can she write it?" Just some food for thought :)

  • @circletyrant

    whoa.....

  • @circletyrant Probably.

  • @saxophoneninja this is great, and pharaoh is one of my top 3 favs...

  • Can someone help me to understand whats going on please?

  • sorry, I have to respond...this is Sun Ra at his wildest, but he was a lot more than that...he led an orchestra for about 60 years and composed some of the most amazing music ever...he's more like Ellington than Sly Stone...although you put those two together and you get something closer to Ra...watch more clips of his...he's truly amazing...

  • Well!

  • I played this at the music store and the help said, "You down with Sun Ra?"

  • everybody could do it

  • @lagraineechoes only HE can do it, ignorant asshole.

  • This is ART. Sun Ra knew exactly what he was doing, and boldly did it. We need artists like this today.

    Enlighten me...

    Thanks

  • @Kennedyinc3 Sound experimentation. It's spirit music. It drives out the weak and pulls in the spiritual tuned.

  • @Kennedyinc3 open your mind music isnt all pretty

  • so, he is talented!!!! ...hmmm .... can someone explain to me what ' talent ' means ?!

  • What key is this in?

  • @PimpBrovasTV The key of the universe.

  • Ever listen to this shit while high?

  • look at him spin around in pure boss motion.

    owning everything,beinastud.

  • @alucardisdumb ikr, like when he does that, the audience is just captivated by it as they cheer. he owns the moment.

  • cocaine is one hell of a drug

  • Is he playing a yamaha electone? or is that a moog?

  • Haters Gonna Hate

  • ...........this is total shit

  • but i still give this dude props

  • its funny how this dude said he wasnt a human being even though they found his birth certificate and he died just like anybody else lol

  • @saywhatiwantfool He knew he was born with our standards of reality. His point was that the spirit is like little drops of water. It is never born nor does it die. it is endless, eternal. It's letting go of your ego/identity, who you THINK you are.

  • this dude is raw as fuck this shit is grimey! LOL

  • SUN RA'd do chaos just to clear the riffraff, BONUS; IT WAS FUN TOO

  • @YungZ905 i think his myths were better'n yours

  • He let his inner mind come out.

  • @OrlyDudeGuy This is his way of channeling energy/tuning up to the eternal universe/Ram/Krishna/Buddha/Unknown/Impossible/outerspace beings.

  • @ppc1989ark destination unknown

  • Sun Ra's eccentric

  • Is Ra playing "Atlantis"?

  • that was horrible

  • I find this absolutely hilarious.

  • cool

  • yawn

  • im sorry this just doesn't sound good at all. i've heard some of his other stuff and it's pretty good, but this doesn't do anything for me.

  • And not a single fuck was given.

  • @alteredgrind

I respond to a stupid statement with a stupid statement...you're a fucking idiot. You obviously have no knowledge of music, and no understanding of who Sun Ra is.

  • @awortheyjr If you're saying your statement is stupid, why should I care about it? Obviously, you could not tell I wasn't being serious. I've been a fan of Sun Ra and other noise musicians for a while.

  • @alteredgrind

Well in that case, I apologize and I retract my statement, but why would you leave that comment?

  • @awortheyjr Its like an internet meme of sorts. You can find stupid pictures with that phrase on them. It wasnt meant to be insulting or anything.

  • @alteredgrind Best comment i've ever see man ;)

  • @alteredgrind thanks for making me smile a million times.

  • I heard this same jam yesterday. I was at a guitar center and some mother was not watching her 5 year old as well as she should have and he walked into the synth room and started playing.

Gee... silly me! And I thought the kid was just being a kid and hitting a bunch of keys like only a child would do.

  • @infodisinfo Hope you realize Sun Ra has a degree in music and was a disciplined musician that spent everyday rehearsing (He only took catnaps)

  • @ppc1989ark I'm sure he was very devoted, and honestly I have read a little about him. by all accounts he was a very moral person, a devout Christian.

however, I don't see any talent here, and having an education means little... I've worked with lots of people with college educations, some were bright, some were idiots.

  • @infodisinfo Perhaps the talent lies in the application, and not the details. Stand back and look at it.

  • @automap it really is a matter of taste, I suppose. for me, when I compair him to other fusion artists of the time, like Sly Stone, there is a major lack of talent here.

  • I like Ra too, and all, but if you listen closely, you can hear that he plays a wrong note at 1:06. I'm just saying...

  • I'd just like to drop in on this comments page to point out that war is a motherfucker.

  • 0:30 and beyond - RAW.

  • anyone wanna explain this? i dont mean to b rude but this music seems to take little skill and doesn't sound very good, so how is it intellectual

  • @3333kdawg this video really just captures one of his musical freakouts that would happen at times on several occasions during any given show. Give a listen to more of his stuff to get a better idea. Its a 1:24 video of a possibly 5 minute solo in a song that may go on for 12 minutes.

  • @3333kdawg it does take little skill, and it is pseudo intellectual. Now, there are people who post on here that Ra's old albums sell for hundreds of dollars on Amazon. It's not true, I have searched there after being told this and never found an album for over $5!

I am a music lover of most all genres, I can find lots of none commercial/mainstream stuff on CD simply because there is a demand for it... there simply is no such demand for Ra's stuff. It's garbage!

  • @infodisinfo Garbage is a big word for a person who knows very little about Jazz such as yourself. Try listen to any of Sun Ra's early albums and come back to post your opinions.

As for Sun Ra's old albums, the fact that the latest pop starlet can sell millions while a classical master can only muster a few thousand should give you an indication of how demand correlates to talent.

  • @mlredr lol...you're real funny ASSuming so much about a person by a little post. here's what I KNOW about you: you're a jackass that reaches rash conclusions based on almost no information. you should run for congress, you'd do well.

classical music, I'm a big fan of it, opera, too. much can be found on CD at any music store... where's Ra's? zero demand means no one will invest in the prints to sell. Ra had no impact on music, he played mostly at community colleges and almost never sold out!

  • @infodisinfo Wow bro, saying that Sun Ra has had no impact on music is a pretty ignorant statement. That man was one of the most groundbreaking jazz musicians ever. He was one of the first jazz musicians to explore free jazz and make use of electronic instruments. His influence is seen in modern jazz today and in other musicians like MC5. There are also plenty of Sun Ra records at music stores, I watched my friend buy one yesterday. Don't talk shit about something you know nothing about.

  • @raymondHooper yeah, OK... and the first caveman to club a hollow log was a ground breaker in free style drumming. you said a friend bought a record... why not a CD? I've never seen a Sun Ra CD... do they exsist?

  • @infodisinfo In amazon, there are sun ra audio cds.

  • @infodisinfo Again, your ignorance is evident. You obviously haven't heard any jazz in your insignificant life. Goodbye!

  • @mlredr LOL... you ASSume so much...goodbye, back at you... and one more thing... EAT ME!

  • I sooooo should have been a keyboard player!

  • Dont listen to this with a bad hangover , it will kill you.... maybe on xtc it works ?

  • He was one of the greats, and a true inspiration to me and others.

  • this is the shit. i want MORE!

is there a longer version of this?

  • @earthchild100 Whaaaat a longer version ? Are you mental?

  • Nice job, keep it up. New music from Brandon Jarod coming soon, great sounds!

  • You need to add the appropriate internet path stuff to get to the algerianmusic site. I couldn't post the entire path, but you get the idea. If you need more info, let me know and I will get it to you.

  • By the way, I do intend to post a cross-section of the sort of music I enjoy, but I want to give others a chance first. I will say that my collection spans genres, and encompasses over 100 countries. That said, I strongly encourage anybody with their ears and brains and hearts connected to each other to look at the Raina Rai and Amarna/Djillali Rezkallah videos posted on this site. Visit the site called algerianmusic as well, and listen to their music. It's incredible.

  • I've got it. Let's find out what OTHER music people listen to besides Sun Ra, to provide some relative context. I know that some of you who have made ignorant comments might be ashamed, but put up or shut up.

  • Keyboard abuse.

  • ahh I fell in love with his music at an early age, im 21 now and i still dig it! I would have loved to see the Sun God come play in my hometown Mexico City oh man he should've came and visited our pyramid of the sun and played his thoughts.........

  • @NewYork2Chicago sun ra was a great person, lovely human being and just as good and innovative player. he is an asset to his african roots and a gift to this otherwise very boring world. i would definately have a drink and a laugh with him. i love all the african jazz people. cant beat them! best ever!

  • @ashrafilm Indeed, the world is boring without fun people like Sun Ra and other eccentric people out there who bring joy to this life

  • i like 0:17

  • Oscar Wilde said it best- "Do not make art more accessible; make the public more artistic." Judging from some of the ludicrous and absurd comments posted here, I think that would be a herculean task indeed.

  • @gkozak666 You know, I have realized that spiritual people like Sun Ra can do more for this planet than most people, especially politicians. People like Ram Dass, people who figured out what life is all about. What is it all about? Sincerity, and most importantly as Sun Ra says, knowing the "unknown." "The unknown is most profitable to humanity."

  • @gkozak666 If you watch a joyful noise, you will see that what seems to be an ambiguous mess of philosophies are actually EQUATIONS, real EQUATIONS, WORD EQUATIONS. And the world is made of math equations (physics). And like I've said previously, read about the String Theory and then listen to Sun Ra's equations, you might get a surprise as to what he's talking about.

  • I warn you up front, I'll take on anybody, especially dense, inane, asinine, uninformed, unenlightened dolts. Those of you who fit that profile, think carefully before you choose to engage me in any arguments regarding this subject. I will hack you apart.

  • I'd bet that not one of you boneheads who hate Sun Ra ever went to one of his concerts. I went to many. He envisioned a world in which music wasn't just something vomited from mass-marketers into the willing mouths of those who would swallow it. He envisioned a world in which music wasn't just something grafted onto shalow, ignorant clones for effect, but something that welled up from within, an extension of ones essence. But I guess it's hard to understand that if you have no essence.

  • Cocaine is a hell of a drug

  • fuck shit!!!!!!!!!!!! mother fuck!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @keker that's all about your powermetal garbage, fag

  • That is actually terrible.

  • is that a joke?

  • listen to this song after baking some good cabbage. close your eyes and just let your mind wander. don't think of anything, just absorb the song..... i did, and the images that i saw, projecting from my inner soul....

  • heh pretty rad

  • disco volante = on sun ra's dick hardcore

  • thats the greatest thing i've seen since the breakfast scene in pee wee herman's great adventure. this guys huffed alotta farts in his day!

  • Where its at...

  • I think this was taken from the lost scrolls of beethoven entitled "teen musician gone wild sonata".

  • goodgood sounds thankyou sun ra happinessmusic freedom
