Hay guys don’t compare SRK and SK, both are superb, but it’s a fact the movie is a boring one..designed for kids…how come a softer-version of the hero could be tangible. I think the Indian audience needs to step out of the "love" genre and accept something new. Slumdog millionare did wonder! Why? Because it was based onreality and reality of India. People appreciated the film for simplicity and it was a global platform for Indian cinema.

With such a campaign and the present collections (but I don't believe in Box Office stats), the movie still lags much much behind + loads of -ve comments pouring in + poor Youtube views despite exclsuive partnership with youtube. To do that Ra.One needs to get 175-200 crore jst to get the status of "Average". Now imagine how much it needs to become a blockbuster.The collections has dropped on the 3rd day.

This film is not suitable to be seen with family. There is too much obscenity and cheap dialogues. If people know the value and importance of hard earned money, than instead of spending on this movie, it's better to keep it for other necessary things.
To all those who are not assessing the movie but because it's an SRK movie they are jsut insisting and repeating it's great, had there been another hero instead of SRK in this movie, no necessarily a star, would you have been hailing the movie in the same way??? Be sincere in ur answer.
[2] Here two manequin is meant for the character of ra.one and g.one. They were just kept at display with their video game getup to be shown to the public. But there wasn't any scene that suggests srk playing the role of shekhar has given any technical / mechanical upgradation to make them as a robot. What they showed in the movie was just a character development in a video game. They’ve fooled the public big time.
[1] They have a very poor intro for both the characters in the movie. How can 2 ordinary manequin ( a type of puppet seen mostly on cloth shop ) that was kept inside a video game studio, got that much power? There was not a single scene in the movie, which shows any build up with electrical wiring or other instruments that could make it a robot ! There was not a single scene! srk played the role of video game developer, not a specialist in advanced robotics !! Didn’t anyone noticed that ?!
With a budget of more than 150 million, they've shamelessly copied from many movies; for e.g. the video game part and their games getting real is copied from 'Tron' & 'Tron Legacy' movie; then the robot getting negative and hunting others is copied from 'Terminator' ; then the h.a.r.t. plot is also copied from 'Ironman 2' movie; then the running over train scene was copied from 'Robot' and 'Spiderman 2.This film is full of vulgarity & obscenity. Not suitable for family viewing.

It is a fact now a hit film is not necessarily a good film and a flop movie is not necessarily a bad one. So for me I've never cared abt box office. just watched it now...its an amazing experience, complete visual treat ...specially the London chase scene, the Entry of G.One - fight between g.1 & Ra.1 and the Train-Stopping sequence is simply breathtking ...endin is little predictable but the great visual and graphic effects covers it all ...far-far better than recent Hindi action movies ......thumbs UP

I slept in the theatres while watching Ready and as for Dabbang I watched in 1 year after it was released. Wanted I haven't even seen it. Had I been an SRK hater, Veer Zaara, Main Hoon Naa and the likes wouldn't have been in my list of fav movies.

Even Akshay Kumar has given a list of crap movies, Hrithik gave Dhoom 2 which was shit but hit, Aamir gave Ghajini which was just OK. Some are entertaining though shit but most damn hollow. Avatar is NOT the biggest movie of hollywood. It was a simple and ordinary movie. What was spectacular about it was its special effects(latest technology). For me it was just an animation movie and nothing else.

Ra.One has IMPORTED technology in India by laying down huge money that's all. Avatar didn't need to have a huge promotional campaign as such. Masses were brought to it by the splendour of the fx and the innovation. I will not be surprised in India if Ra.One wins awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and even Best Actress.

I was not expecting much from the movie since it was an Anubhav Sinha's movie. The guy gave a gem with Tum Bin... one of my fav till now. But since he started to shift to action movies he had given crap movies. A good movie will become hitby itself no need to do such marketing. Take for e.g 3 idiots. I am not a die fan of SRK but what I have realized that the Movie mostly becomes hits only because of his fans. SRK fans are never tries to influence people on net by bad reviews & comments during release of any other actor but both Salman, Amir..etc fans are not so kind. When it comes to SRK movie release, fans of Salman, Amir… started on net by bad review comments from day one.
Amir movie Ghajini is frame by frame copy of south Ghajini, it simple means it doesn’t have any innovative idea or no inputs from Amir as well. And No one is criticizing this big fact. You can watch both movies on you tube. Movie became hits & breaks records. Same happened for Salman movies.
This is similar situation when DON was released most of critics & peoples had putting bad reviews on net but because of SRK fans that movie did a good at box office & now everybody (including critics) likes SRK work in DON.
I have also watched RA.ONE & really want to share my views that the review of Komal Nahata & Omer (Zoom) are best matching revies for this movie. Now takes Yahoo review it doen't give even a single star it simple means that person really hates SRK their may be several reasons behind it. The movie which has nice songs, international effects & some super clash between G.ONE & RA.ONE then how can one stating that it doesn't deserves a single star. Its really non sesnse things.

Anyhow, Ra One is a once time watch but they did an amazing job on the special effects. Money well spent there.

With such a campaign and the present collections (but I don't believe in Box Office stats), the movie still lags much much behind + loads of -ve comments pouring in + poor Youtube views despite exclsuive partnership with youtube. [2] Here two manequin is meant for the character of ra.one and g.one. They were just kept at display with their video game getup to be shown to the public. But there wasn't any scene that suggests srk playing the role of shekhar has given any technical / mechanical upgradation to make them as a robot. What they showed in the movie was just a character development in a video game. They’ve fooled the public big time.

[1] They have a very poor intro for both the characters in the movie. How can 2 ordinary manequin ( a type of puppet seen mostly on cloth shop ) that was kept inside a video game studio, got that much power? There was not a single scene in the movie, which shows any build up with electrical wiring or other instruments that could make it a robot ! There was not a single scene! srk played the role of video game developer, not a specialist in advanced robotics !! Didn’t anyone noticed that ?!

With a budget of more than 150 million, they've shamelessly copied from many movies; for e.g. the video game part and their games getting real is copied from 'Tron' & 'Tron Legacy' movie; then the robot getting negative and hunting others is copied from 'Terminator' ; then the h.a.r.t. plot is also copied from 'Ironman 2' movie; then the running over train scene was copied from 'Robot' and 'Spiderman 2.This film is full of vulgarity & obscenity. I slept in the theatres while watching Ready and as for Dabbang I watched in 1 year after it was released. Wanted I haven't even seen it. So does it make me a slgaykhan fan? :p I prefer to watch not popular movies which are hardly heard or promoted but are good. Had I been an SRK hater, Veer Zaara, Main Hoon Naa and the likes wouldn't have been in my list of fav movies.

Even Akshay Kumar has given a list of crap movies, Hrithik gave Dhoom 2 which was shit but hit, Aamir gave Ghajini which was just OK. Some are entertaining though shit but most damn hollow. The Indian audience normally just watch movies for the sake of their heroes and even though it's horrible they will chirp around that it's a superhit and superb.

If u give anything crap to SRK fans they wil love it, provded SRK is in it. If I have to watch special effects I better watch Avatar and hopefully this will be used for Krrish. I hope Bollywood understands one day, the strength of a movie is it script and story. Everything else are enhancements and that includes Special FX. Avatar was huge but didn't won the award for Best Movie at the Oscars because of it's a bit common story. Am not a Salman Khan fan btw. Just a conoisseur of good cinema.

Avatar is NOT the biggest movie of hollywood. It was a simple and ordinary movie. What was spectacular about it was its special effects(latest technology). For me it was just an animation movie and nothing else.
I was dissapointed with avatar because the same director had made TITANIC which had broken records in collecting awards.
Avatar was publicised and hyped so much that public still believe that it is the greatest movie of hollywood.

Apart from action there r many other factors which r taken into consideration when judging a movie such as screenplay, story, direction, performances, background music,, etc. No doubt avatar won the best visual effects but was a loser overall. It didnt win any precious award like best film, director

I know avatar won awrds like Art Direction or Cinematography.Winning award in these categories are really not widely known or recognized by many people. Thats y I didnt mention it. For a movie or movie maker to become world famous the movie at least has to win awrds in categories like best film, best actor, best director, best story/screenplay/music.
If we FORGET about the graphics and actions in avatar, i will say kungfupanda1 is a much better, entertaining n interesting movie

@sallumiyaa Avatar is another thing. Avatar came up with a new concept of technology in the whole world of cinema not only US. Ra.One is not about that. Ra.One has IMPORTED technology in India by laying down huge money that's all. Avatar didn't need to have a huge promotional campaign as such. Masses were brought to it by the splendour of the fx and the innovation. I will not be surprised in India if Ra.One wins awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and even Best Actress.

I know Ajay Devgan is better in acting and if I were to give the award I would have considered him considering the other movies that come by the end of this year. But awards are not genuine and in India Best Actor, Best Actress etc are not given in consideration of acting skills but in consideration of how much money a movie made at the box office. And mostly awards are "bought" by SRK. So I will not be suprised if he gets it.

I was not expecting much from the movie since it was an Anubhav Sinha's movie. The guy gave a gem with Tum Bin... one of my fav till now. But since he started to shift to action movies he had given crap movies. A good movie will become hitby itself no need to do such marketing. Take for e.g 3 idiots. Special FX only enhances a movie but it is the script which makes it. Krrish for me remains the best superhero bollywood movie.

Dude sorry to say but honestly i think the best superhero movie is ROBOT. It was better than krishh. Nobody love rajnikanth in bollywood zats why the movie havent done well in bollywood but surprisingly Robot is the biggest blockbuster of india. It has broken all movies record in terms of profits.

I am not a die fan of SRK but what I have realized that the Movie mostly becomes hits only because of his fans. SRK fans are never tries to influence people on net by bad reviews & comments during release of any other actor but both Salman, Amir..etc fans are not so kind. When it comes to SRK movie release, fans of Salman, Amir… started on net by bad review comments from day one.

Amir movie Ghajini is frame by frame copy of south Ghajini, it simple means it doesn’t have any innovative idea or no inputs from Amir as well. And No one is criticizing this big fact. You can watch both movies on you tube. Movie became hits & breaks records. Same happened for Salman movies.

I have also watched RA.ONE & really want to share my views that the review of Komal Nahata & Omer (Zoom) are best matching revies for this movie. Now takes Yahoo review it doen't give even a single star it simple means that person really hates SRK their may be several reasons behind it. The movie which has nice songs, international effects & some super clash between G.ONE & RA.ONE then how can one stating that it doesn't deserves a single star. Its really non sesnse things.

Ra One was being watched by the Hard Core Shahrukh Fans who happen to be my friend.
End of the day Review from them: Its not a Shahrukh type Movie.We felt pathetic to sit in for that long. Meant for underaged.Lacked Comedy, Vibe, Gloss .
Just had some good VFX, I think Shahrukh should turn Director now and use better heroes for his movies like Hrithik, Rampal who have features to look like a Super Hero.
Its very hard to find a 5 FT super hero.
