This is a Sudanese song called (azza fe hwak) named by a girl called (AZZA) and the name meaning of it ("AZZA" in your love) one of the greats Sudanese songs, released in early 1930's.
However, this legend played it more than awesome, and it just simply how are great Ethiopians people, and remembering us of what we had...
Thank you for the post @ ethiopia much appreciated it so sad we don't preserve such talented artist from the past.I love the 1960s of ethiopia art was displayed in a big way!!
A bow to Getachew Mekuria .. excellent performance as always!
This is a replay of a Sudanese national song called *Azza fi hawak*, *Azza, in your love* .. and here Azza resembles Sudan. This song was original sung by khaleel Farah.
music to my ears omg i wish there were more habeshan pieces for saxophones in notes liek ic ant play music without notes but i think that sounds awesome yea for teenage girl that playa barisax and an alto sax yea its pretty hard to even breath lmao
oh yeay- There was the so called" golden ages" in the 60ties and 70thies..and then with the -changing of gov.t in Ethiopia- nightlife in Addis and Ethio has been frobbiden for years..and Ethio turned to dark...
I agree with you Bushira...he really is a living legend...if u don't already have it try to have the CD entitled " Ethiopiques Vol. 14 " it is his greatest hits collection.
