using the insturments in the "i"key (i think it has a name like effects or instruments, but iknow what you are talking bout. anyway i play bass and i use the guitar fx and when i play an octave up i can sound like guitar.
thnx 4 this vid i was planning on gettin a mac soon and i really wanted to know how 2 use garage band proporly cuz im a drummer and my friends r in a band
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm studying for a test and I wanted to record my notes so I can listen to them with my ipod. Hope it works as easy as it looks.
I tried it today - it works great. I can record my voice on one track and record music on another track then combine the two. When I listen to my notes I now have background music that helps me relax. Soma FM - google it.
thank you! :)

That's the one thing they aren't. Maybe the problem is with your abilities. Mac is the finest operating system in the world.

GarageBand comes free on all Macs. I bought the program iShowU. It was pretty inexpensive.

Let me know if this works for you. I used to make cassette tapes and listen to them. At the time it worked for me.

Why is it that when I use audio recording in Garage Band, I get horrendous static/background noise when my room is completely quiet?
dhoffryn 4 years ago
I'm not sure what the problem is. Are you using an external microphone or the computer's internal mic?

I used a program called iShowU. There are also several other programs available as well as a new website called screencast-o-matic (dot) com
