@wilkersonray69 i know this is directed to twisted, but in most cases people dont like it to go below 12v, for people that burp, even with quad alts and such, they drop in to the mid 11s but for only a second or less. Touching 11.9v isnt necessarily good, but if it only happens for a short amount of time its ok. with the H/O alt depending on what it does, he should be staying in the mid to high 13s, but that depends on the battery and alt. HIGHER VOLTAGE / LESS AMP CONSUMPTION.

i need help my amp wont turn on when i turn my head unit on. i check external amplifier power control wire and thatss fine in get a little under 12.50 volts and fuses are intact. do you know whats wrong?

@fingerandskateboard Does it go into protect when you turn it on? That'd most likely mean your grounds are bad, make sure they are connected to the chasis or something connected to the body of the car. Also do you have your REM hooked in right? And 12.50 is bad bro, you should be getting 14.4V when the amp is off, if the amp is off and your getting a little under 12.50 volts thats probably why its not starting. And even if it did you're gonna get some MAD voltage drops! Lots of clipping
