Going to bed everynight with sore muscles...that's such a good one. Sore muscles are such a freaking good feeling. I definitely need to kick the exercise up. I really like the idea of exercising while supporting/watching youtube. I find it so hard to keep up with everything on here. BUT, I'll make it!
Trave you are awesome! I loved this vid and I have totally noticed how supportive of others that you have been, even this early in the comp. I really really think that the key to this community is a support based network where we are not all just thinking about ourselves and what support /comments/ratings we can get, but rather what we can offer others as part of a great online tool for meeting others and weight loss. it is crazy how there are only 31 guys in this competition and for reasons that i'll soon tell you i'm only competing against 10. I like your reason of wanting to know how your body reacts to food! Its crazy how some foods create the most insane form of weight fluctuation. I can only do 7 pushups without dying so its going to take me some time to get to 100. Good luck with the programs, you're going to have to tell me what is the best one! 7% eh? not sure i can do that but I'm going to try!
Look forward to finding out your reason for the 10....To be honest I am not thinking of any of them as competition. I have my goal of 7%....if someone beats that then I'm happy for them but I will be at the lowest weight I have ever been in my adult and teenage life by losing 7%.

Good video, I don't quite the being sore everyday. sore isn't really a good thing . your muscles need time to recover. Do you have a marathon in mind to run?
I'm making sure that I don't work the same muscles daily that way they can recover. As for marathons. There is a Sydney marathon that is run in October. I might aim for this one....I need to start doing some shorter distance runs first after I complete the C25K.

I got a strange from the lady who printed my photo and then another strange look from the person who laminated it. But the cue card and the photo is for me, so it was worth the strange looks. :)

do u change ur hand placement when doing the 100 push ups? I would recommmed that...do a set with hands close together, then normal width, then wide....do a set with you feet on a step, then hands on the step....variety is the key!
of course you already knew that....

Doug if you are really thinking of coming to Australia to enjoy our summers then you have to try vegemite. In fact I think I thy and make that a condition of entry at the Airport. All visitors must eat a Vegemite Sandwich before getting through customs. Thanks for the advice on the push ups I'm only just starting them so I did not know. In this video I did 20, it's the most I have done in over 20 years, but at the start of the week I could only do 12 so it's getting better.
Trav, only you could have make such an awesome video. I love it. I tried to support everyone but Trav....no way...we are way to many. I think we all have the right to chose.
About exercising while watching vids...no way...the only thing I would hear is me yelling.
As for the supporting everyone. I do agree that there are WAY too many people for everyone to be watching every video from every person. I have given up all TV to do it and a lot of my free time. This is why I have to get a little creative with my workout and multi-task. I would much prefer people exercising than watching my videos if it helps them get to goal.
As for exercising and yelling, I had to cut out the audio in the push up part due to this. :)

Ha ha. I calves are so sore from all the running I have been doing and a weird aerobics video I saw on youtube and did yesterday. That exercise you saw me doing I could only do the 3 you saw they hurt so much. :)
Supporting others in this challenge also helps me to stay motivated.

I have thought about the exercising whilst watching but never got off my butt and did it. Damion (Genuniely Sarcastic) mentioned the sit up thing to me a while back and I though it would be great to add for everyone in this challenge.
Yep...I took that photoshopped photo and gave it to the lady at Officeworks to laminate. She gave it such a strange look. I'm pretty sure she didn't know whether to make a joke about the photo or not. :)
I would have loved to explain more about the goal card but with only 3 mins, well.....I photoshopped my head on a hot guys body. It helps me to visualise where I want to get to. I've been looking at it every day to help clearly see my goal.
Unfortunately I have bought way too many of the other six packs. Time to get a real one. Hope you are feeling better soon mate and back out hitting the pavement.
