Unfortunately Arsenal were not a giant of Europe. There is a hierachy in football. Also he was STATISCALLY the best player in the world in the season he won the treble with Barcelona (2008/09) ahead of Messi, according to the Castrol Rankings which are the most detailed and objective analysis of players performances.
