  • Very nice. The book!!!

  • @naranjo3504 great trick!

  • instead of an arbor knot is a box knot good also? and when the knot is tied, should the knot be aligned with the line guide thing?

  • @HATINTHEKAT To be honest, the arbor knot is much easier to use, and I thought the box knot was used for two seperate lines?

When it comes to the knot, I just push it to one side on the spool. Don't make it too hard, just tie the knot and start reeling with tension on the line :)

  • I also love those tackle warehouse reel covers, There alot better than bps brand

  • @TeamRippnLipz1 That's good to hear, I've only had Cabelas brand and the TW covers, and TW certainly fits my reel a whole lot better!

  • @BassinNW Yup they fit so snug, The bps are loose and don't velcro well

  • Yea thats usually how i do it to. I been knotting it on the shimino citica and curado to the holes in the spool, Especially on braid that way it never slips. Good video! Keep up coming

  • @TeamRippnLipz1 Don't you use backing for braid? I usually do it this way for mono, but fluoro could certainly benefit from what you suggested. Thanks RippnLipz!

  • @BassinNW Yea for my braid i use 14lbs mono as backing

  • @TeamRippnLipz1 Gotcha, good stuff man. Tight lines.

  • Is that the Shimano Citica? How long have you had the reel? And is it a good reel? Thanks!

  • @martinr0120 Yes, this is the Shimano Citica. I have had it for a year now, and absolutely love fishing with it. It has a solid drag system, and is quite smooth. For $120, it's hard to beat.
