@Andulvar No it wont. Whats going on in TNA right now is the greatest example of what I've just mentioned. Hogan is there now and will bring new eyeballs. When the eyes get there they will see that the current Champion in the company are homegrown TNA talent. Established guys like Kobashi,Liger,Raven brought more new eyes to ROH than anyone. They are established vets. They brought the eyes and then the fans saw the ROH homegrown talent. To do things any other way is nuts. ECW did the same.

I want the same thing for ROH but ROH is out of touch with the wrestling audience. I think ROH is a solid product and I love it but fans like me and I assume you are few and far between. TNA learned from years of not turning a profit that things were not working. They also learned what keeps them in business. ROH started before TNA btw

ROH need stop going to networks that not many people can watch, I was watching it on Fight Network, not many are willing to pay each month for a channel they will not watch often, something like Spike I don't need to pay for it each month.

@Andulvar Dixie Carter has said that they do know the segment by segment ratings and thats why the Knockouts have that top of hour one locked in but what they really look at is annual ratings. As long as those are up, they are happy and so is spike. only the fans really look at segment by segment and hang on every weeks ratings. Hogan has already brought more eyeballs to TNA than anything TNA has done in history. I refuse to think that huge growth in ratings on Jan 4th was just a coincidence.

@Andulvar You cant really believe that the reasons TNAs ratings were up on Jan 4th were because they ran an event up against the most watched wrestling show in the world as oppose to their usually time slot vs no wrestling show...& that NO ONE tuned in to see Hulk Hogan. If TNA or ROH close down, its been a hell of a ride. I said the same thing with ECW. ECW closed because Heyman had horrible business skills & was dishonest. I think TNA will keep growing. if it closes though, oh well.

The promotions started as a place that wanted to run a couple of shows under Feinstein to sell his DVDs at the merch table and promote his website while giving the fans some dream matches. ROh didnt think bog from the start. Where as Jeff Jarrett was a nut to think he could launch anything bigger than a short lived indy. But he was a nut with a smart business plan.

I have HD net and watch ROH every week but I can see why it does appeal to the bulk of fans.
