Can't watch this without wanting to cry!!!!! DO you think this is a good starter camera? I am getting this camera soon and was wondering if you think its any good for starters. I have some steeping in canon cameras but never used Nikon. Is it any different? Thanks so much.
@tunnelscope Its a great starter camera, but I would also consider D5000 or a D5100 as a starter as they are easier to use for starters. I have replaced this camera with a D5000 and I think the sensor on it is very good for picking up colour. Have a think but D100 was a pro camera ranging at £1500 when it was new, but the good thing is now is that they are cheap to get hold of in Ebay. Good Luck.
nice pics dude! question: how do you take pictures like the one of the pub and the cars lights drifting through the image? i love those kind of shots and just got myself a d100 so any advice on how to take them would be greatly appreciated! thanks :)
This looks like a neat little camera. I have a friend that wants me to teach him photography but he doesn't have enough money for a newer camera so I'm going to convince him to get this and the Nikkor f/1.8. Heck. I might even buy this for myself it's so cheap! :D
I just found my grandpa's d100 and I don;t know how to use it, like taking a picture. I manage to view the pics he took but how to I actually take pics with it?
The song is 'The Blower's Daughter' from Damien Rice 'O' Album. Love this song, too bad my video isnt long enough to play the entire track because its fab. You should hear it right through.
Thank you. Wedding photography isnt really my thing but it can pay well. The father of this woman requested that I did the photography and later underpaid me because he said that he wasnt saticfied. I always recommend you never hand over any photo's until they hand over the cash. Thanks for your kind comments.

I really adore the child's portrait at 0:35. I love how soft yet vibrant the photo is. Overall, great shots. :)
