wow. You're studio is almost as ghetto as you. Oh and ya, they "bang". Didn't realize money could be wrong. I love the way when the camera zooms in on the neumann, it's clearly a tlm, but you're saying tml several times. One last thought you might take into consideration........Graffiti isn't the best way to make a room acoustically treated.
What's good cadillaklova! Nice setup you got there. I'm sure you guys be going in! I did a Video Tour of my Studio too. If you want to check it out, check out my channel.
Feeling the PR flag on the wall! Keep doing your thing, Peace!
You should get an iMac in your set up but other then that it looks like you studio/ work place will look cool when it's all done. Its nice that you have your beach out side the studio lol
@martinmontelon well to b honest i have a macbook pro but i just loike the way my softwares run on windows.. other than that my studio is prety much done ive just been lazy to make a video, thinking about it now i might do that this week cause it looks mad different.. anyhows thanks for the coment bro..
@fuckfallbrek09 well what I do is mix the beat down as much as possible on the mpc and then transfer it to pro tools through the 1/4 inch jacks from the headphones to the mic in on my mbox I'd you wanna mix on your pro tools and you want to sync it then you'll have to get midi cables to control pro tools from the mpc..
Also what I do since I don't want to sync and all that I just record individual tracks into pro tools from the mpc by muting one at a time, then once there all in then I mix o
@fuckfallbrek09 its pretty complicated, depending on how you want to use it that is.. and with the equipment i have i use it in a pretty complicated way i guess... still interested?
My man is real. Just use what you got. Equipment don't make the music, you do. He just proved that with the intro and outtro track to video. That track is hot !! My opinion on mics is that you get as many different ones as you can afford. You need to be prepared for the different vocal ranges you'll encounter. There is no such thing as a cheap mic. Learn your effects and processes and you can pull off good vocal tracks per project requirements. Great job Cadillaklova.
If you guys ever are looking for a Keyboard workstation you should check out our StudioBLADE. Its windows 7 equipped so you can use all your favorite plug-ins and software. Its like a whole studio in one easy unit! Check out our channel for videos.
thanks for the comment bro i like that, its true a lot of people got good ass equipment but no talent. with what i got is good enough you know i make it happen believe that!! thanks again
I started off watching this video like wtf, i swear i hate on everybody but this guy was awesome. He doesn't care that it's not the best stuff in the world, shit fucking works.
@HUNTPIECENIGGA well for the beat making i eather make them on the mpc and transfer to pro tools track by track or i make the beat on reason 5 and then transfer to pro tools as well track by track. once on pro tools i can record vocals add efects all al that fun shit
@DowncastSTL im sure your absoulutely right!! but for the most part after plug ins and shit im pretty satisfied with the sound for now, i do plan on doing a lot of upgrades as far as the room but i am just starting at this building stuff, in due time it will be a better both for vocals. but thank you for your comment anyways.. peace
@launionrecords100 yo tengo mucha musica differente, tengo muchos temas duros de hip hop cabron, pero también tengo unos temas pa las gatas con un sonido mas comercial, quien eres? Y si quieres me das tu email y te envió un par de MP3's
Great setup. Excellent, I agree with most of what you said. Like the previous post, you just need a preamp for your mic. Your vocal recordings sound good with the TLM without it but it will sound great and proffesional with it. But really nice set up... BTW the KRK monitors are the truth!!!
thats a pro mic you have the Neumann tl103 i got 2 of those n one U87.. u should try to get a Avalon 737 as a mic pre.. when i record i run it run like this.. U87/Tl103 tru the Avalon 737 then Tru the DIGI 003 and the REsuts are a bad ass PRo sound.. but nice set up bro.. keep up..its not about the Equitment its about the MINd.. naw mean..
I like ya lab, I like the concrete/spraypaint on the walls. I could write/produce some dope tracks in there. Lights down low and sh*t. Its not the greatest room accoustic wise but it def is a room capable of making grimey tracks like old Onyx, or Redman, and sh*t like that. Come check my studio out. I attactched it as a video response.
Yeah,fix tht shitt quick...lol
