This is a GREAT song! Only Mandy Moore could improve on the Switchfoot version and make it an emotional highpoint of a beautiful movie!

If you DIDN'T at least get choked up by this movie, check you pulse because your heart may not be beating! I cried a couple of times and BELIEVE me it's not easy for a guy to admit that!

Generally not a fan of Nicholas Spark's books but this movie was PERFECT and touching!

I liked this scene but the thing I dont like about mandy moore is that when she sings she has that awkward kind of crooked smile and it kind of ruins the charachter description of "Jamie".

The way she sings is just too "Mandy moore"...

also, like practically almost all the songs in this movie are by Switchfoot

@rachelslf really? To me, the movie moves me to tears every time and the book was so boring! The conflict of her strong faith and his lack thereof wasn't there, taking out one of my favorite themes. Most of the book was him reading the bible with her,and while I liked seeing more of her illness, those parts got dry very fast. I expected more of the excitement, more of the relationship their families, and more of Landon's change...You don't see all the sides of him you do in the movie. IMHO :)
