  • what about steaming vegetables?

  • Is raw cows milk or goats milk good??

  • you look unhealthy.. no colour around your eyes and no colour or vibrance in your skin. i was raw for a year and i went paleo for half a year. i feel great eating a cooked and raw food diet combined.

  • @nicoatvan I think she's just not wearing makeup. Most of us have gotten used to seeing women in makeup and have forgotten what a natural face looks like. She looks fine, in my opinion.

  • @nicoatvan

It's hard to get natural skin radiance wintertime in Montreal. I agree with LuvSawy.

Media projects very unrealistic image of what a woman's face looks like, all that chemical

makeup only builds up toxicity in exchange of fake looks.

No color around the eyes is actually healthy ... some people are just fair-skinned.

  • i ate nothing but SPINACH, the healthiest of all grocery store vegetables, for 48 hours, and my health started collapsing, real-time. the Only thing that saved me was DAIRY products. yogurt, milk, and cheese, are the only thing that's keeping the standard american from surviving. Because of the probiotic cultured bacteria. raw grass fed meat is also an equivalent source of beneficial bacteria.

  • @jackdentreprenuer That's because you can't just live off of vegetables, you need fruit more then vegetables. Read the 80/10/10 book and then go raw. Plus, you need to give it about a month to feel the full benefit of being raw. Your body is cleaning itself when you're eating raw, thus making you feel kind of shitty. The shitty feeling only lasted about 3 days for me.

  • grocery store PLANT Foods are ALL COOKED (anti-biotic). the pesticides, destroy all there beneficial pro-biotic bacteria. Therefore, absolutely, no reason to, ingest such a dark force of destruction. ... the best option, sauerkraut (home made), raw dairy qephor (organic pastures), raw grass fed meat, probiotic infused water.

  • what cooked foods are healthy? that is an OXYMORON! ...watch the wifeswap video of the guy eating cooked meat, after being raw for a year. I just ate cooked meat after 2 years... oh and natasha... nuts and seeds are COOKED!, as our FRUITS AND VEGETABLES! (death chemicals, pesticides) raw meat, eggs, and raw dairy is the safest thing to eat. our ANIMAL FOODS are PRO-biotic, because society doesn't cook fresh meat, because they expect us to cook it. You either eat probiotics or antibiotics.

  • if 70% of humanity has a sensitivity to wheat how did we all get here. Our ancestors practically lived on the stuff?

  • @imaplugger I've read that our ancestors didn't eat much wheat until 10,000 years ago with agriculture. They ate vegetation, fruits, nuts, seeds, and animals for the other 100-200K years.

  • Tomato is more healthy when its heated right?

  • You're now my guru! :)

I just wanted to ask you something ( I'm sure you have already talked about it though...) : should all things be biological<'? Beans and stuff...? Can we buy any bag of beans and sprout it?

    Thanks :)

  • @maria9here She talks a little bit about which foods should be organic/biological and all that info in her one on budgeting, episode 80. Good question about the beans, i have wondered that too.

  • @maria9here She discussed the organic/biological food question in "Raw Food and being on a budget" Episode 80. Good question about the beans, Ive wondered that too.

  • @realzeal85 Thank you so much! I'll check it :)

  • I worry about getting sick from raw foods!! Can you help??

  • what about progies?

lol u kno the potatoe things u cook and eat with sower cream

  • I say this because I have eaten the fake meats before.

  • Yeah that fake meat lol. I am not vegetarian but you're eating something that resembles meat. You're defeating the purpose. It also kind of keeps you thinking the same way as before. Kind of keeps you in the same mind set.

  • great video!

  • Plain soy beans (edamame) are good, though, right?

  • You're amazing you help me so much. Please don't stop making videos.

  • Smoking is damaging to your health. With every puff you take, you fill your system with thousands of toxic chemicals. It is no wonder individuals would like to quit smoking, but it is very hard. I came across an effective way to quit smoking, youtube wont let me post it right here so I put the link in my profile.

  • She's got some good ideas. I gave up wheat and refined sugar about six months ago, and it made a drastic difference to my health. However, I'm sticking with meat and home cooked foods. It's just whatever works for you.

  • Natasha! I love your energy and dedication, but I have to disagree. On a raw food diet I was drained--I ate lots of vegetables, fruit, juice, soaked seeds and nuts (mostly local/organic), etc. I've found the best diet for my lifestyle to be a hybrid of both raw and cooked food--raw foodism just wasn't for me! If you're into peer-reviewed research, Google "The Energetic Significance of Cooking". The article discusses some benefits (e.g absorption) of cooked vs raw food.

    Keep on posting :)

  • @Kevin41890 I definately agree about the cooked food things. I've tried raw food diets and just felt low energy and sick all the time. As soon as cooked food becomes reintroduced into the diet, I feel amazingly better. I'm all for avoiding packaged ready to eat foods, but I still think steamed veggies, for me, are more nutritious than raw.

  • @Kevin41890 for how long did you or have you eaten raw in your whole life? do you eat at least 6 times a day while on a raw organic diet? how many times did you juice? or make protein nutritionally dense smoothies?.. what type of water do you drink and how much daily? I was Overweight now a Gymnast and been eating raw for 6 years, I fly! look leaned and way more ripped that most gym gurus...so how is it that nutrition dense clean organic food filled with Life get you more tired?? Imao

  • @Kevin41890

I agree. In the Ayurvedic system of health, which is the oldest in the world, almost everything is cooked. I am like you a 50/50 kinda guy and even eat some organic meat and fish now and then

  • I think it's pretty unhealthy if you don't cook your meat.

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ first of all, that's not true. The benefit in cooking meat is killing bacteria, but if you eat fresh meat then that's not an issue. Cooking it makes it carcinogenic and degrades the protein.

Secondly, I believe she implied that she ate nuts and seeds for protein, not meat.

  • @PrettyLoather

ok then, eat your meat raw. you'll last about 5 days

  • hey =) what do you personally think about having oatmeal every once in a while?

  • 1 dlslike?? Someones does not want to avoid fast foods. ^^

  • Just replace your bread for Ezekiel's bread (Sprouted) Sprouted means not cooked or processed. I know it's expensive, but worth it. I am going to start sprouting my beans. No more canned beans soon.. :P

  • this is a little pretentious....k?

  • straight to the point please!

  • what if you make your own veggie burger lol

  • AHHHH!! Forget COOKED FOODS!! It's 11:14 PM and i just ate a full a day of cooked rice and really hot quinoa. it's BEEN 18 MONTHS since i ATE COOKED FOODS!! i CAN Totaly Feel The POisonous differnence!! Ahhh My brain is mElting. I swear on my life. I'll be sprouting my quinoa and rice for now on. fqe fqe fe f

  • @jackdentreprenuer Quinia is fine when cooked because you're cooking at a low temp. As long as you eat the quinoa with vegetable, you're healthy.

  • You are very inspirational. :)

  • I am trying to make the transition, but it is hard. I have a very strict budget, but I want to be healhty, so what do I do with the food sh*t that is in my home? Our staple foods are milk, white bread, pasta, ketchup, coke, and margerine. My family and I are very unhealthy and I am having a hard time getting that stuff out of the house, what do I do when my husband eats and brings in unhealhty iteas such as coke?

  • @kimberleymh talk to your husband, tell him how important it is to you and your family to get healthy!

  • thanks so much for the imfo i heard if you cook a grain like brown rice it turnes into sugar in 4 minites is that true gorgeous.

  • Woohoo, utube just censored my provided info about Doctor Mercola. I resign. :)

  • actually i found that it costs less to get all veged out ;) i'm not completely raw or anything but i tend to go to that section in the store more often now.

um i know i can look this up but what is sprouting?

  • I think it could be quite personal--whereas soy messed up your hormones, I am much more hormonally balanced now that I've added some soy milk to my diet and I feel sooo much better! However, I am careful--the only soy milk we consume is Eden doubly certified organic with no GMO. Tastes so much better too!

  • @MirandaLeeWong, Soya is bad! Google " The Simple Soya Truth".

  • Care to share data on soy that was actually gathered from human test data, and not rats?

That website is flawed to the max.

  • @InvisiMan2006 Man, i don't care what you eat and what you believe actually...

But after extend on-line personal research, i believe that is soy bad. That particular article was just first one that i picked...

  • I don't eat soy, so I have no vested interest.

But for the people who do eat soy, they shouldn't be misinformed by websites that use rodent data to make conclusions about soy's effect on humans. It's just not ethical.

  • @InvisiMan2006 Hmm not ethical?! Do you work for the soy industry?! :) watch?v=RjZs0DGW1Jk

  • Like I said, I have no vested interest in the soy industry. I eat raw fruits and veggies.

People have the right to FACTS and come to their own conclusion. Giving the public false or irrelevant information only confuses them, and that is unethical.

Sorry, but I also want the truth about our food to be known.

  • OO! Raw sprouted almond milk is heavenly!! And SO easy to make at home.

  • Very interesting about soy..I believe everything you say Natasha! why!! lol but I'm not raw I just like you. Your pretty cool.

  • Amen. Amen and another Amen.. Thank you so much for this honest and open look at a serious topic that people fail to realize. I especially iike that you pointed out how people think they are eating healthy and helping but really are harming. I feel we all should be high raw, very opinionated on this subject but appreciate your approach and have a ton of respect for you and this video. Bravo, this is the first video I have seen of your - should check out more! Great message. God bless you!

  • do you have a work out routine?

  • What do you think about raw fish and even steak tartar?

  • Not ethical and not necessary.

  • Hey Natasha! Can u talk about how u take care of your hair? :)

  • Hello Natasha, what do you think of hemp milk? Where I am, there is a brand called Living Harvest that produces great hemp milk. What's your take on it, from a raw perspective? Is it healthy?

  • I just wanted to comment on this one. Hemp is one of the most complete foods. I recommend eating it in it's shelled seed state and not budying premade hemp milk as it's losing nutrients due to processing. Hemp milk is not hard to make on your own - best to consume it that way. First choice is to use the hemp hearts/seeds though. Great plant source of EFAs, protein, fiber and many nutrients. It's very easily digestible as well. Hemp it up!
