My favourite advertisement of all time. I think it came out in mid 90s but it still looks so fresh and has STACKS more genuine creativity in this 71 seconds than most movies have in 71 minutes. Incredible stuff! People overuse the word "genius" but in case of Gondry it's well deserved and 100%

Michel Gondry is always about some kind of adventure. All of his works are an adventure. Everything he does, even if its a smirnoff commercial, somehow brings me back to my childhood. Brilliant man.

That is an incredibly insightful and true statement.  There is only a select few out there who are willing to invest in the avant gard. Only when these ideas and creative forms are embraced by the masses do we begin to see them everywhere, and by that time they have been exploited to the point of deformity. But on the plus side, having to constantly stay ahead of society is what keeps these creative geniuses breaking barriers. That inspires me. Cheers!
