  • Interesting that Happy Shopper only arrived in the North East in 1990. They were around in the East Midlands as early as 1986. I suppose that Tesco Value and all that replaced the brand...

  • I have heard of the supermarket chain, Happy Shopper. Whatever happened to the brand? Shelley, French Fields, Never The Twain and Mr Bean were the comedies I watched at the time, all made by Thames Television.
