Six months! You should be so proud of yourself for how far you've come in such a short time. I have been playing for 18 years and I remember how difficult is was to produce such a nice sound during those first couple years. Don't let the haters hate on you or criticize small things like the notes being "unconnected". The ease of playing will come in time and you are certainly on the right path. Bravo!

My Piano Teacher (who is also a Flute Teacher) told me of a story of one of her students who quit the Flute in Secondary school but told her she regretted stopping after hearing this song and She has since started playing the flute again. I can't play the flute (because I suck at it) but Like listening to it because it has a sense of harmony to it. Thanks

This is why I love flute. Unfortunately, it can be hard to get this beautiful sort of effect while playing in the school band... music made only for flute makes for the most beautiful music. I imagined this to be played a little less choppy though, and more flowy. Still, the pitch is perfect and vibrato is there but not too distracting - you've perfected those high notes too! Wonderful...

i have this music - its really fun to play isnt it :) butto be able to play this after 6 months is pretty good going :) i picked it up about 2 years ago after i passed grade 5, so i found the pieces themselves easy, but you're pretty good, keep at it. you have a good sound, and your posture is amazing :D

That depends upon how you learned to play and how much time you had to devote to practice. Beyond that, it comes down to musical talent. I can relatively easily pick up on songs and sing them by just hearing them, but I couldn't do the same thing on an instrument to save my life. //-^;;
