According to Dutch Wikipedia, Cornelius van der Beek (the drummer) died in 1998. I found elsewhere that he was born in 6th June 1948. That means that he was 50 years old when he passed away.

OK, but how did he die exactly? Did he just pass out? Was it some drug over-doze, or wut?

The site "The Dead Rock Stars Club" says he has died of illness. I don't know more than this.

So he died because he was sick...? Too bad, im not just a fan of mariska, but with the SB band members. RIP to both Cornelius and Mariska. :(

Man they were still around in 84??? Wish I would have known,they still sounded great!!! Guess they were just forgotten since they didn't have a "hit". That sucks!!!

I saw them in 1989 in Nuernberg/Germany together with the Lords. The Lords were great, SB were brilliant. Mariska spoke of a comeback and a new cd. But I never saw it anywhere, so sad.
