This is incredible! chaka kahn is tremendous! fantabulous! Yes this is my girl! she is doing things with this song that have never been done! the energy between her and the musicians, all of them, is like none other! this is a spritual performance! they touched the unseen!

@mctalks Kevin Chokan and I (Leone) was so thankful that Yoshi has filmed and posted this... Kevin is now Diana Ross' musical director and he also plays guitar touring with Jeffrey Osborne. Some of the other artist he plays with are Shilts (Down to the Bone), Everret Harp, Donny Osmond, etc.. when he's not working on the road he's in his studio writing his own music!

this is an incredible display of supreme vocal prowess..every notes and riffs are supremely connected..she infused the essence of pure blues and jazz together! just listen to her dynamic vocal tone, she made transitions from sounding smokey and sultry to powerful and metallic, EFFORTLESSLY! and that low note at 1:32 got everyone exited! this is Chaka in supreme vocal form!
