No, just a Sunday morning one and one of R.W. Walker. The station smoked with Sonovox Liners / Jingles (Pams?) and the ABC network voice over guy doing the Legal ID. The late Tramonte Watts at night was like no other night jock, high energy and fun to listen to. The competion was not doing anything creative.
I Remember the original Y 100 a true fm 70s classic . I remember the original line up. Tanner in the Morning, Krammer at lunch time ,Kid Kurry, Robert w Walker, Earl the pearl and Mark in the Dark. good work my friends ... E
Worked In S. Florida in Winter 1984-1985. This station had it all over all the others. 1st to play Miami Sound Machine & Expose, who would be played much later by other stations across the county when they charted.
@68wrko -That was until about summer of 86,when Power 96 came along and played songs no one else in the country outside of NYC was playing. Do you have any airchecks,if so by all means put them on,they are neat to listen to.
