  • great talent .. very entertaining .. thanks

  • Can I not add the blueberries and just add the peaches and strawberries? If i take the blueberries out how much more peaches and strawberries do I have to add?-Vivian

  • @110cottoncandy Yes, you may omit the blueberries; just put in the amount of peaches and strawberries that were left out with the blueberries.

    --Betty :)

  • betty can you make a tres leches cake? i love it its the best dessert ever :d

  • @ninipouie I will check on that dessert; I've never made it.

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen could give you a recipe if you want (althought I'm sure you've probably found one online already) it's rather simple, I've made it a couple of times :)

  • @ncruzb Thanks, I have compared a few recipes on line--still thinking about it.

    --Betty :)

  • Very nice. I have only one suggestion. I love sweet with salty and especially like fruit with fish. How about pureeing the whole thing and serve it in a large shallow bowl with a lump of tuna salad in the middle - then it's an entree.

  • Also would be good in a bowl with a BIG scoop of cool whip on top yummy!!

  • too bad we don't have much of a summer this year :( we have snow on the forcast for thursday!!! :(

  • @maplepoon Wow! It is still hot here--close to 90!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen And they talk of global warming LOL..not where we live!!

  • @maplepoon Same here... Although it's not supposed to snow if you're below 3.800metre (12467 ft) above sea loevel.

  • Lovely Betty :) I love all your videos as u know...May i request some fish dishes? An old family friend took me for 'fish n chips' when i took a vacation to England and i swear i could eat that everyday lol x

p.s-Your nails are so lovely..Is that a french manicure?

  • @CornbreadLover Hi Yolanda,

I do need to get more fish videos posted. I will start thinking about preparation I will use. I do have a couple of catfish videos and some salmon, in case you haven't seen those in bettyskitchen. The maninure I have is called an American manicure where I live--it's like a French manicure, but oversprayed with just a bit of white to keep it from having a lot of contrast. Thanks for your compliment!

  • 0 dislikes!!! :DDD you guys respect betty

    (like i do)

  • Your Fruit Soup looks very refreshing Betty, just the thing to have on a warm day. Thanks for sharing yet another lovely recipe :-) ....Richard

  • no ice tea? lol

  • Mm that looks good. I wonder if you have a good recipe for nice little homemade ginger snaps too? I bet the leftovers of your soup would make a nice ice cream topping or could be nice blended into a smoothie too.

  • What I really like about Betty (besides the scrumptious recipes) is that she proves that a woman can look elegant in the kitchen. Not just a frump with an apron and banana on your head. She also radiates with class and intelligence. What a combination in the kitchen.

    Thanks Betty!

  • @meadowlassie A banana on her head?! Lol!! Did you mean bandana? That made me chuckle :)

  • @19jj80 Yes, thank you. I meant bandana, but BANANA fits, too. LOL.

  • @meadowlassie Your comment really made me smile :)

  • look gooooooooood! Interesting recipe for sure.

  • I hope this is not a dumb question but what exactly is corn starch? I have heard of it but in all of my years of cooking I have never used it.

I'm going to try this recipe it looks out of this world, thanks!

  • @FloridaSweety Cornstarch is the starch of the corn grain obtained from the corn kernel. It has a distinctive appearance and feel when mixed raw with water or milk, giving easily to gentle pressure but resisting sudden pressure. It is often used for thickening soups, stews, and gravies.

    --Betty :)

  • @FloridaSweety no questions are ever dumb. :)

  • look really tasty !!!

  • awesome video! :)

what other fruits would u use betty? cause i really don't like blueberries.

  • @SaaandraV obviously I'm not Betty, but I think crispy red grapes would substitute well for the blueberries. = ]

  • @SaaandraV I agree with the red seedless grapes!

    --Betty :)
