the problem with this great band is they were to good for the audience of the time, who were only used to being fed a diet of crap meaningless, throwaway pop.
I have trouble believing that this act is considered a 1-hit wonder with such strong material as this single. Power Pop with a slight progressive feel!
My dad faveourite band, seen them bout 5 times now, even tho the original singer is mnolonger witht hem still an amazing band that should of been so much bigger than they were,
i have a picture on my wall of me witht hem :) my pride and joy
I agree with ronnieneo..one of the most under rated bands ever..francis dunnery is a complete ledgend..C alling all the heroes album has to be the best
OMG! Thanks for uploading. Never knew there was a vid for this track. The duel tracked guitar solo in the middle knocks me out every time. Then the chords that come in between 3.01 and 3.04 - orgasmic - so amazing they bring tears to my ears as they play against the bass note. Some of you will understand where I'm coming from - others will think I'm a jerk. Oh well. My tuppence worth!
And I just noticed that I probably have the same bass the bassist plays on this video! Which is weird because it's quite an uncommon instrument (An Italian made Eko BA-4).
Ok, probably nobody gives a damn about it, but I was surprised anyway... ^__^ heh heh...
My mate from our own band in the eighties just gave me a copy of ''once around the world,WOW, ah the memories, surely one of the most amazin albums ever, amazin musicianship, enough riffs, melodies and time signatures for ten songs cleverly crafted into individual tracks,They should have been HUGEEEEEEEE !!!
Love IT-Bites!! Countless night when we'd roll a wee bit of hows your father, hifi at number 10 and melt into someones couch , all the best George [tube username musicfunkydude]
It Bites were such a great band. They were - and still are in their reformation - four incredible musicians. In fact, I was blown away to find out recently that Doug Pinnick of King's X was a fan of the band, too. I also heard a rumor that he was present (and visible near the front of the stage) in the Town & Country video.
13 dislikes !! You must be joking ! Class band and an outstanding song !! My fave It Bites track of the old It Bites !

Great vocals ! Is why I used to love this band, the singing and how it mixed in with the music was different from the run of the mill bands

This video - shot in Notre-Dame in Paris - was definitely the best video of this great band. Thanks for finally uploading it!
