I have noticed with Torchwood and Doctor WHo, the music for dramatic scenes are over the top gut wrenching, I literrally cried when Rose got trapped in the alternate universe and couldnt be with the doctor anymore, and when Ianto died, and also when Owen died.....Murray Gold rocks!
i remember hearing this music when Owen is going to the house to find that alien shell thing and I kept rewinding and rewinding to hear this music. I just wish I knew who composed it so I could get it. It is so strangely beautiful and I love it
I agree with you. It really stood out when he was dealing with his being undead and he was going through the house looking for the energy signature. I love his line "I'm broken mate."
i love this music... one of the best themes i've heard 4 any character and i've heard some pretty good ones.. although... u only got a bit of it... the ful thing is about 3 mins or something
I totally agree. I didn't wright the last message btw. Must've been my brother but yeh it certanly shows the difference between Jack's way of living forever and Owen's way of living forever.
I love this song so much, it's probably some of my favourite music from both Doctor Who and Torchwood, it's just so moving, it makes me sad everytime I hear it :C
I like this one a lot too. I agree it is pretty chilling. As well as being in a lot of the earlier episodes, was it also played when Owen was trapped in the radiation room in the last episode? I remember hearing it because the music always reminds me of that scene, but I might be wrong.
I'm broken I'm wrong I'm Dr Owen Harper and I'm having a hell of a day

I think that the music for Torchwood is definately better than the music for Doctor who. It has more meaning.

AWESOME! i love this tune.
Why did they have to kill Owen again? having an undead on the team was cool, and it made a nice contrast with jack's immortality...

We're born. We live. We die. That's the way it is.
And if you don't like that, you'll just have to get over it, or you can die as early as possible. Your choice.

yeesh, what's your problem? people are allowed to have opinions you know.
just because someone expresses one you don't agree with doesn't mean you have to be rude about it...

Not Jack, though. Lol
He's born. He Lives. And.. he lives.
