  • ~Well at least they did give it a try~~~LOL~!

  • as a none chiristian i hyave to go with.....

  • jeez, leave the yes religion no religon to the debators. it christas season! u r rite that religions can start wars, and you are rite that religion saves lives. all is well it ends well, u both win

  • *Looks at video* Aww what a nice and funny video...

    *Looks down* what the hell....

  • Waht is wonrg with all of you???

Stop it or i will call arnold Swarrthanegger into all of your homes the next Christmas!!!

  • guys everyone calm down. the truth is, is that the argument will never be solved. im an atheist myself, but thats just me as a person and i do not want to shove my believe down peoples throats, cause then i am no better than the radical fundamentalist. we all believe in different things, so just let it go. the reason why terror of war happens is because of disagreement of religion and belief it is exactly what all of you are attributing too.

  • @MatrixPig23 -Thank you. Though I don't agree w/you on the existence of God, thank you for being a decent human being and not a jackass who as you said, acts no better than any fundamentalist...

  • god is a lie!!! nothing but an empty void..... :)

  • Hey, random guy! Did you expect these kind of comment reaction for a simple holiday mix? Well either way, Merry Christmas!

  • Nice, you're all having a Religious debate this video?

You're all absolute retards. Absorb the message the video is sending or fuck off.

  • I guess you all missed the point of the video

  • hey, whatever happened to "Season's Greetings"? between all the hullabaloo about "Merry Christmas" vs "Happy Holidays" and who can say it to who, and when, and BLAH, "Season's Greetings" kinda got lost in the shuffle a little bit. so...

    SEASON'S GREETINGS EVERYONE!

have fun celebrating whatever the heck you want to celebrate (or not) and say whatever holiday season related phrase you feel like (or not) because who REALLY cares anyway? =)

  • Hey, I never said that snake2006 was wrong in his belief that there isn't a God. I merely said that his arguments are horrible, weak, juvenile and poorly supported. Why he felt the need to come on here at all and rant about/against those who've put glad tidings on here is archetypical of a small minded atheist who's only atheist to be 'different'.Don't get all bummed at me over it. He's too ignorant to even support his own argument, not my fault. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Bless Jesus

  • @TheDissident77

That has nothing to do with being an atheist

    That's just being a jerk

  • @DrMlieko FINALLY, someone gets the point I was making. Merry Freaking Christmas. See what you're defending before you rush to defend. Those claiming victim-hood today are quite often the victimizer.

  • @DrMlieko

No it has to be with being right and being frustrated that the world is too damn dumb to see the truth has been revealed and continues to be revealed every day with scientific advancements. They want to believe in a fictitious character who is no more real than Harry Potter. They don't want to be associated with the fact that apes ARE OUR RELATIVES. I am sick of seeing people being murdered in the name of religion.

When it starts to impact advancements it becomes a problem

  • @snake2006

No reason to drop to their level for that

You hate violence committed in the name of religion, but on your quest, you are becoming equally violent.

If you wish to convince people of your truth, you should go by example, instead of shoving your beliefs down their throat.

We both know how annoying it is when they do it

So prove that you are better!

We may have the evidence, but they won't listen if you keep slamming their heads into it.

  • @TheDissident77 I have no idea about invidual arguments and I suspect you are correct that he is an idiot. the truth however is that religion always collapses under critical thinking. so you are free to belive in it just know its insane

  • @TheDissident77

Poorly supported my ass. You got nothing but saying Technology doesn't count as evolution,

Sorry to break it to you it does. Then you say Einstein says there must be a god, big deal, Steven Hawking who is easily his equal says there isn't. Subject to opinion. If he wants to believe fine, But religious people have taken things to far already, they have held back stem cell research, and other medical advancements, religion has been the cause of every war in history

  • @snake2006 - Ok. Read very carefully: Man's ability to change something, technology for ex., is not a proof of evolution. It is proof of OUR ability to adapt, improve things WE made. Proof Evol. would be: L.B. Leakey's discoveries in Oldavai Gorge, Afroferensis to Austrolapithicus. Those are proof of evolution, not a smaller computer. Again, I didn't say evolution didn't happen. I said YOUR examples are not apt. I was corrected about Einstien, WITH proof. You offer only generic statements...

  • @snake2006 ...that aren't proof. The statement that 'all wars started b/c of religion' is intellectually lazy. As you've shown you are. WWI, was started b/c of entrenched hostilities and networks of alliances. Religion hasn't been the cause, its been the excuse for many deaths. Like you, other lesser men's dogmatic view of the world w/refusal to see anothers view, causes most bloodshed. Religion, by your "logic"(and I apply that to you very loosely) also was the inspiration for Abolitionists...

  • @TheDissident77

WWI was started by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. That is what started WWI. Do your homework fool.

WWII was another war that used religion as a catalyst to vault Adolf Hitler into power, he used the extermination of the jews as a platform for a then suffering Germany to get into power.

Shall I mention the Crusades, the current war we are in has bases in religion. Your the one who is intellectually lazy and you keep proving me RIGHT.

  • @snake2006 sigh, yes the assassination of Ferdinand was the spark in a powder keg of Europe that was already at high tensions. Nearly anything could've sparked that war. But it wasn't religion. You said all wars. You are wrong. Not ALL wars were started b/c of religion. Oh, your welcome for me giving you better examples of the proof of evol., which btw, I never disavowed. Oooh the Crusades, hmmm wars of religion or wars of religion AND lucrative trade routes? Again, go pray to your IPhone.

  • @snake2006 ...became the overriding cause to Lincoln during the Civil War. Can you say that religion wasn't the basis and strength behind the Civil Rights movement? How about all the lives saved in 3rd world ctries due to missionaries. True once they were brutal, but in the 20th cent., they have been life savers. As Lisa said to Homer, " Just b/c you say something doesn't make it so." Don't make the confusion of religion and Faith. Can be two different things. Your dogmatic/angry exhortations...

  • @snake2006 ..are just as stupid as a religious fanatics blind adherence to their cause. Lastly, and I do mean lastly. I should've just ignored you b/c this cool season's greetings from JustSomeRandomGuy didn't in anyway need some exclamation from you that God doesn't exist. I should've let it alone. But you felt compelled to come on here and let us all know how you don't believe in God etc. ?Nobody cares or asked. Go pray to your IPhone and tell me if its sooths your soul.

  • @TheDissident77

I don't even like Apple. But I don't deny how their devices have impacted the world and how it operates. How we as a society have adapted and changed with it, which follows the principal laws of EVOLUTION. You religious NUTS ARE THE PROBLEM and I won't rest until everyone's eyes are awake and see it as a fantasy that it truly is. It had its place, to control populaces, now it's a outdated relic that has caused more harm than actual good.

  • @TheDissident77

You can go ahead and ignore me. Doesn't change the facts as they are, God is a fantasy. Jesus as a more than a prophet is fantasy. He died, but he sure as hell didn't rise from the grave. The world never flooded, there is no garden of eden, and everything else the bible claims are WORKS OF FICTION.

  • @snake2006 Just wanna say, half of the Old Testament are the historical references for the Jews. The other half like the Garden of Eden, I'd like to it believe as a scientific lab made by aliens for human growth and whatnots, and Adam and Eve were exiled to Earth because of stealing fruit from the royal tree. Oh and I believe in God, just not every single word from the Bible. :D

  • I'm too lazy to read all of these comments, but apparently there's some kind of religious debate going on. I think this is the perfect video for this situation to teach everyone to put aside their differences and just enjoy the holidays, no matter what you are or aren't celebrating. :D

  • @TheFreakinRican123 Way to completely miss my point, numbnuts.

  • @takashi0100 In all honesty, I don't really care what your point was because, if I did, I would've replied to your comment specifically, but if you want to waste both our time telling me what it was, go right ahead.

  • Merry Christmas. Sue me.

  • Oh ffs people, stop bitching. Look at the pretty colors on the screen. LOOK AT THEM!

  • Happy Coke day! ;D

  • this is hilarious Merry christmas

  • Does it even matter? Both "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays" can both be interpreted as sincere well wishes whether you practice religion or not. They are kinda the same damn thing in my opinion.

  • Oh Shit guys, Marvel supports SOPA. MARVEL SUPPORTS SOPA

  • @manacycler

hyup, Marvel supports SOPA, while Disney does not

Warner bros. supports SOPA, while DC doesn't

    interesting world we live in

  • Wtf? Why is there a theist/atheist debate on this??? It's just a funny video!!

  • @Nawledge1 - b/c an atheist often, like a socialist, can't stand others feeling joy/happiness so instead of just believing what they believe and leaving others to their own faith, they have to but in w/ irrelevant pts or openly antagonistic comments to try and ruin others Merry. Like a spoiled Emo who can't stand others loving life and/or God.

  • @TheDissident77

This is the stupidest, and most disrespectful thing I've heard today!

You are an insult to the spirit of this holiday, and a further embarrassment of your own faith!

You do not deserve to be among decent people!

    You've ruined Christmas for everyone!

    Are you proud of yourself?

  • @DrMlieko Let me get this straight. pple post holiday wishes, some adolescent posts his regurgitated atheist(and poor) arguments that theres no God. On a vid that has nothing to do w/that. I respond to his elementary logic, poor reasoning and juvenile attitude, acknowledge his right to think what he wants, even acknowledge discrepancies in the faith, AND I'M the bad guy? I didn't push a belief on 'him', just let him make a fool of himself, or do you think his arguments are valid? ha, probably

  • @DrMlieko - And I doubt I'm that powerful that I ruined Christmas for everyone. If so, then they have not much of a life or personality to let some random comments on a post from someone they don't know ruin their Christmas. Me, not the atheist, yelling about how there's no God. Me, the one getting him to show how weak and rote his arguments are. Me. Too sensitive.

  • @DrMlieko

    u r moron

  • @TheDissident77 Not sure how a system where the government provides services can suck the joy out of things... or force beliefs on you. O_o

  • @Nawledge1 because people want to and love to judge.

  • @Nawledge1 Because people are stupid to learn that Religion doesn't make people stupid/bad, people do that to themselves by turning into zealots and pissing everyone off.

  • @takashi0100 relogion. it makes no scientific sense. i should believe it!

  • @Nawledge1

because it's the internet, THAT'S why. as soon as i heard Supes say "Merry Christmas" and Spidey say "Happy Holidays", i just knew the comments section was gonna be a mess...

  • @Nawledge1

because some people are idiots, who can't put aside their differences

  • Happy holidays

  • Yikes...I knew a political debate was comming.

  • Can people please not argue on the comments section? Thanks & merry CHRISTmas.

  • @snake2006 - Despite your teenage-like attempts at logic and reason. Your pathetic and honestly just plain stupid examples and your complete ignorance in the art of debate. Your ardor to redouble your effort while losing sight of your goal. Juvenile tantrum and request for proof against your lame attempts at denying your fear. HAPPY HOLIDAYS. God believes in you, even though your atheism comes off reeking of teenage-angst and impulsive stupidity. U try too hard, and you suck at debating.

  • @TheDissident77

    Shut-Up

    Every single one of you

This is not the time nor place to throw our dogmas at each other

This is the one time a year we should try to get along, regardless of our world views

    Shame to all of you!

Marry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

May the God Emperor of Mankind and Princess Celestia give you their blessing

  • @TheDissident77

Just saying...If you didn't want to debate with him, then why you respond to his comment...from what i can see his argument wasn't being directed at you in the first place.

  • @sofakingwetalled - 1. I had no problem w/ a debate. 2. I responded cuz I knew it would be funny reading his stupidity. 3. I didn't think it was directed at me. I responded to his typical athiestic need to ruin others joy w/ his empty philosophy. I wish it were a real debate and not his...version of one.

  • @TheDissident77

So far, YOU are the only person ruining everyone's joy with your overbearing arrogance and zealotry

  • @DrMlieko - Zealotry? Where? I didn't tell him he was wrong. I didn't say I was right. I merely said his 'proof' was poor and mostly illogical. Anecdotal at best. Arrogance? Where? B/c I didn't stoop to his poor skills at presenting a thought? B/c I didn't care for a typical jerk who just wants to antagonize on a vid that has nothing to do w/ what he's pointing out? Read the whole thing. Use your brain. ppl on here make me laugh at how stupid they really are.

  • @TheDissident77

Stupidity, nope, sorry your the one on that side of the fence. I am on the right side. The logical side.

And technology is a sign of evolution.

Deal with being wrong and that you have been lied to your entire life about a magical being that doesn't exist, nor ever will.

  • @snake2006

    Stop it!

    OK

As a fellow atheist, I ask you to stop

You are only further cementing the incorrect stereotypes that Christians have against atheists, and use in their propaganda.

    Stop giving them more fodder!

At least in this time of year we should try to get along

  • @DrMlieko

    I am done.

I won this argument a long time ago. Science has proven me right and the bible wrong. It is that simple. Evolution happened, it still is happening now. There is no dispute about it. God is no more real than Harry Potter or any other fictional character.

And I am against this holiday, celebrating a false prophet and as for getting along. Humanity are animals at it's core. It's in our nature to fight.

  • @snake2006 you know Christmas was originally a pagan holiday about worshiping the sun? Also evolution may explain how we came into being but not why.Not to mention all the things that can't be explained by science. For instance a kid gets into a crash and becomes a vegetable and right when they are about to pull the plug he starts to move, and eventually comes out of the coma coherent. Its hard for people to believe that they are here for no reason whatsoever.Im not a christian.

  • @snake2006

To be fair, there's so much history behind this holiday, you don't really need to follow a particular religion to celebrate it

Any opportunity to celebrate is good enough for me

  • @DrMlieko I agree

  • Happy Ramachristmahanukwanzakah Solstice!

  • Happy Festivus

  • merry chrismakwanzakuh

  • hahahaha love the ending

  • i dont get why people get so offensive about the whole merry christmas and happy holidays thing. i wish everyone was like my friend. like just yesterday i was about to head home and i told him "merry christmas" and he was like "Im jewish!" and smiled and i was like "Oh my bad, happy Hanukkah!" boom. thats it. done. no hard feelings, no hostility.

  • @luislabilles what are you talking about? its about Marvel and DC not what they say

  • @luislabilles

this one time, a bunch of people were lighting this thing with like 9 candles on it, and i started blowing them out like a birthday party and then they got really mad at me and so i said "Happy birthday jesus" then they got even more angry.

  • @luislabilles "i told him "merry christmas" and he was like "Im jewish!" and smiled and i was like "Oh my bad, happy Hanukkah!" " I don't get it. The Israelis admit there was a human named Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem and lived in that area telling people things, much the way others did at the time. The USofA celebrates that man and the philosophy attributed to him. So, why is ut bad to say "Merry Christmas" like we say Happy MLK Day or Happy Presidents Day?

  • I feel obliged to to wish a Marry Hearts Warming Eve and a Happy Winter Wrap-Up to all the Bronies, a happy Life Day to all the Star Wars nerds, and a honorable Mondstill to all the Warhammer zealots

  • Comment removed

  • @Kanata46 We have a "holiday" this time of year because of the winter equinox, the christians just plopped one of their holidays on the same date. merry christmas!

  • @Kanata46 Christmas is not the reason there is a holiday, it is not the only holiday, and is not even the first holiday to appear at this time of year. Originally it was the Winter Solstice but I don't think anyone really celebrates that anymore. Among the holidays that came along after that we do celebrate are Hanukkah, Quanza, and Christmas. I'm sure there are many more but saying "Happy Holidays" is mutually inclusive to all of them where as "Marry Christmas" excludes everyone else.

  • @RialVestro - Kwanzaa was invented in Oakland circa 1960's by 'radical' black leaders. It was set to match the Winter months like many other events around the world. Xmas date was changed to more easily convert 'pagans' to christianity. None of this dimishes the 'currently' held reason for the season. Judging the past by todays standards is intellectually lazy and/or ignorant.

  • @TheDissident77 The "Currently" held reason for the season is not Christmas. That's A reason but not THE reason. While I don't know much about Kwanzaa or other holidays around this time of year because no one really talks about them much we do hear allot about the Jewish holiday Hanukkah and how they don't celebrate Christmas. So you really wanna tell a Jewish person Marry Christmas or do you wanna say Happy Holidays?

  • @RialVestro "So you really wanna tell a Jewish person Marry Christmas or do you wanna say Happy Holidays?"

Does this sound right?: "Hi, happy Presidents' Day" "I'm Jewish" "Sorry... Um, happy guys who were ellected to POTUS..um" "George Washington wasn't born on this day, so it's all wrong." "Um, okay... Happy.. Um... never mind..."

This is the current Christmas debate right now.

  • @bsabruzzo There is no Christmas debate, that's not what it's about at all. It's about religious tolerance to people of faiths other than Christianity. Presidents day is a NATIONAL holiday that has nothing to do with religion or when George Washington was born. If it was only about George Washington it would be called George Washington's Birthday not Presidents day. In fact it use to be that way but all the Presidents were given one holiday so there would be less vacation days.

  • @RialVestro "Presidents day is a NATIONAL holiday that has nothing to do with religion " Christmas is a NATIONAL holiday (look it up) and has as much to do about Jesus' philosophy (a basis for the founding of the USA) as it does the birth of the man.

"or when George Washington was born" look up Pres. Day, it is a combination of Lincoln's and Washington's birthday. It was once seperate federal holidays.

And lety's not forget MLK Day (a holy man and philosopher's b-day)

  • @bsabruzzo "Originally it was the Winter Solstice " As there are only 365 days in a year, every day was once another day. So, "taking away a day' is a false arguement.

As I see it, many of the days are importantant to the foundation (and maybe the founding) of the USofA, making them important. And many of the people given holidays are philosophers and men that contributed to the USofA's existance.

Then there are the extra days.

  • @Kanata46

Christmas used to be a pagen holiday before it became about christ. It just used to be a celebration to brighten spirits during the dark winter months.

It hasn't always been about Christ. Not that it matters since Jesus as a Messiah is no more real than the flying spaghetti monster. Which is why I am celebrating Spaghettimas. Now pray to the Spaghetti monster, NOW.

  • @snake2006 I, for one, welcome our new spaghetti overlords.

  • @DarkestElemental616

That's right. We all should be celebrating Spaghettimas.

  • @snake2006 - flying spaghetti monster? Don't be original in your thinly veiled attempt at being 'progressive'. Jesus was a real person. Whether one choose to believe he was the son of God is matter of faith. And all your textbook anti-establishment posing aside, I doubt the last time you were almost in a car crash or other harrowing incident you thought, "Thank Spaghetti Monster no one was hurt." Xmas wasn't a Pagan holiday, the Winter solstice was, Christians changed the Xmas date to match it.

  • @TheDissident77

    1) Yes it was a pagan holiday first, then as you said Christians changed it to celebrate Christ.

    2) Yes there was a man named Jesus and historical documents can prove that as fact. I don't dispute that. I do dispute the fact that he was the son of god, because SCIENCE HAS PROVEN GOD DOESN'T EXIST.

There isn't a single shred of evidence on your side proving the existence of God. Nothing outside of a book written and edited by man as time went on.

  • @snake2006 Nobody can prove God exists, Science can't prove he doesn't exist either. so we generally put God aside when talking about how the world came to be.

  • @snake2006 - Well your ardor not actually disproving(sp?) God's existence aside. Saying something is or isn't doesn't make it so. God is a matter of faith. Your statements of the 'evolution' of technology, while factual and glorious, doesn't prove there is no God. It does prove the ingenuity of man. Yes the bible was written by man, w/man's mistakes/flaws/agendas. FSM- has more to do with you stole that from some show( i forget which). Men of all stages have believed in a God(s) of some sort.

  • @TheDissident77

Wait one moment, first you guys claim that the bible is gods word, and now it's written by man. Make up your mind.

Next you guys claim evolution can't happen, and yet I just gave you proof that it did is still occurring.

You have offered me not even a single piece of tangible evidence proving that God exists. While I offered science and facts proving Evolution is the true answer.

  • @snake2006

    God createt Evolution.

And now just all of you shut up, enjoy Christmas and stop bullshitting for at least one day.

  • @snake2006 - I don't know who 'you guys' are? I merely said that I knew from historical info that the Bible was written by men. Maybe divinely inspired, but by men. You actually didn't give any proof, your arguments were weak at best, most not even good. better technology is not proof of evolution, fossilized bones etc are. I'm sorry your idea of proving your pt is bad analogies, tangential examples and vitriol. I don't care to 'prove' God to you. I believe in him. If you don't, then he doesn't,

  • @TheDissident77

How does better technology not prove evolution? The laws of evolution require adaption and change. You can't deny that through technology lead to modern medicine which allows us to live longer than our ancestors is not adaption and change. How we do business from offline to online is again under the principals of adaption and change. Technology alone is one way humanity has evolved and changed. How we live in cities instead of caves. It does prove evolution.

  • @snake2006 Your funny. So me adapting to my damaged bumper by duct-taping it is proof of evolution? Listen very carefully, I'm not saying I don't believe in evolution. Just YOUR examples are not good ones. They are actually horrible arguments. They are neither on pt. or even relevant. I'm saying specifically, YOUR arguments are dogshit. YOU have no logical support or conclusion or anything. If I was an atheist, you would embarass me w/ your terrible pts., I'd ask you to not talk, u'r not helping

  • @snake2006 If you don't believe in a God, then a God doesn't exist, FOR YOU. That is your right on this Earth to believe that. I wasn't aware that I needed to prove over the internet to you that God exists. I feel more sorry that you are so adamant to show how you don't believe. Again, textbook faux-rebelliousness. My concerns of the Bible doesn't mean I don't believe, means I don't blindly follow. I'm sorry that you think you have offered proof. You suck at debating. Happy holidays to you.

  • @snake2006 - You are aware that even Einstein believed in God. To paraphrase something along the line of, "the more I learn about the universe, the more I'm convinced there is a God". I respect your right not to believe. Just a tip though, your need to be soooo...adamant niether proves your pt, bolsters your argument or disproves the positive. Its similar as when a teen screams their side, they aren't right cuz they are louder. Just as you aren't either.

  • @TheDissident77 It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. - Albert Einstein

  • @Bashallequally Thank you. Send this to snake2006 and explain to him that THIS is how you support an argument. With factual things. Not anecdotal conjecture and seemingly cohesive events that can be explained other ways.

  • @TheDissident77

So my mentioning the Flying Spaghetti Monster is very relevant because is no more real than your fictitious god.

I believe in something called SCIENCE, and evolution has been proven and continues to be proven every day. Just look at bacteria becoming antibiotic resistant, it's a sign of evolution. Our society today alone is proof of evolution. Thanks to modern medicine we live longer. Thanks to Modern Tech, we have easier lives.

  • @TheDissident77

Lets use computers for example. The first computers took up complete rooms, used vaccum tubes, and were weak. As time progressed, we got them to be smaller and smaller, we even have them in the palm of our hand. Your smart phone is a computer. 30 years ago, cellphones were huge and only did phone calls at varying results. As we progressed they became capable of more. Evolution. Our society alone in how we do business thanks to these devices is proof of evolution.

  • @snake2006 - to believe in a God is human nature, evidence that all cultures since time began believed in something greater. The improvement of the computer or cellphone IS NOT a refutation of God. Sorry. Nor is it a support of God. I would say, its the belief in a God, a higher being, a higher purpose for our own lives that has allowed mankind to remain on this earth. If not, then what would it matter if we didn't or hadn't just killed everyone off?

  • @snake2006 - so some of your arguments aren't actually on pt., a testament to mans creativity and genius, yes. The disputes over the bible's origin/divine manifestation I too ponder over. My evidence is in the wonderful acts that people do for eachother everyday. That human life is valued. Shudder at those societies w/o a 'God' and count the bodies(Stalin/Khmer Rouge). My evidence, whether you choose to accept it or not means nothing to me, is my existence, your existence. "He" believes in you.

  • @TheDissident77

You have no evidence. What evidence do you have? A book, 1 single book. While I offer physical evidence proving that evolution had to occur and still does.

If your God exists, why can't he take time out of his busy day once a year and say HI. That we are asked to believe in him with no tangible evidence. That he allows people to kill in his name like the events of 9/11. It's absurd to believe that he would allow people to tarnish his name.

  • @snake2006 "Jesus as a Messiah is no more real than the flying spaghetti monster" Thing is, Jesus was an actual man and we do celebrate his day of birth on this day... mainly due to the influence his philosophy had on the founding of the USofA. Yes, some make it about religion, but the founders followed Jesus's and God's teachings, and Christmas is a federal holiday because of it.

  • @snake2006

YOU STARTED THIS! WHY?! No one cares what your religious, or lack thereof, belief is. Just keep your comments to yourself and have a Merry Christmas. Jesus!

  • I don't even say "Happy holidays"; I just say "Have fun", at most.

  • Why do people say Happy holidays anyway? is it because New Years and Xmas are so cloe so they are bassically saying happy to both of those days?

  • @Blacklanterntavern

Because there are like a dozen holidays around this time.

  • @Blacklanterntavern

Because it's more inclusive for people who don't give a shit about Christmas, even though it is mostly a secular holiday. Some people just want to enjoy their time off without feeling put off by people telling them which holidays they ought to observe. Hence, "happy holidays" or "enjoy the holiday" are sentiments that are both tactful and sincere.

    I hope that covers it...

  • @Blacklanterntavern It's because of bullshit political correctness. People get offended ridiculously easily in the past 20 years...

  • why should have to choose why couldn't they just pick the obvious Mappy histmas.

  • Think I'll go the old school route and just say, Happy Yule everyone.

Political correctness? I don't think so.

  • Cool

  • Great as always.

  • Haha! This is deff. the best one

  • Superman is the best.
