I saw some sTV cop show based on such a scenario but hoped that it was a made up story.....this might be placed in the light of the Kitty Genovese syndrome where a young woman was heard screaming for I believe a good 20 minutes and no-one did anything. As it turns out she was being murdered. These was a another more recent occurence when several people pushed a man back down onto a subway platform in front of an oncoming train..human nature is full of scary paradoxes and ugly things!

Back when I was 15 a mate of mine showed me a house he’d just broken into, where this young guy lived on his own. I was horrified to see that he’d just hung himself.
My mate- laughing all the while- ‘dressed the scene’ by pulling down the guy’s trousers & pants and spreading porn mags on the floor. As a result, Police said it was a solo sex game gone wrong, & his strict Christian family didn’t attend the funeral. The poor guy was left without a shred of dignity, even in death.

Recently,i.e.,within the last few weeks,a young English woman did exactly the same thing of F*ceb**k,& not 1 person tried to do anything about it,even those 'friends' who knew her address.Instead they poked fun at her,& 'egged' her on to do it! Just spend an hour on Youtube and you'll get a general idea of the true nature of the majority.
Had this 19 year chosen to continue living, he would see things get worse and worse. The world has gotten far worse in the course of only 2 years.

The amount of nasty people I've met comes nowhere near the amount of decent ones. Even on here it's the case. Yes, you get a lot of strange and twisted things said, but you can see there are many more nicer things that are written.

If you look at countries with messed up laws and government corruption, the majority of people are loathsome and keep getting worse. Just look at the middle East for examples.

@Soothfish But, again, you can't say the majority are because we know that isn't accurate. The people that come to pominence are the ones who's actions who make the headlines. All the decent people in the middle east shouldn't be put into the same box as them. I agree things seem to be getting worse in the world as time goes on, but there is still a great deal of good in the world which outweighs the bad. Problem is, the good things that are done don't make headlines, like the bad stuff does.

@Soothfish Problem with youtube is that there are a lot of kids on here who are sheep. They say one thing on a video because they get influenced by others, but I'm sure most don't mean it. Not to mention, as people mature the majority in my opinion become good human beings. Yes, you are always going to get people who enjoy making the world a wotse place to live with their actions- but they are in the minority.
