I used the brown rubber mallets from Malletech for the marimba part to further distinguish the tone and to help articulate the rhythms better without having to actually strike harder. Wish more people would play the 32nd note riffs with just the right hand, they just sound like rolls with two hands. Much easier to play that portion, which returns several times, with left hand only worrying about the thirds and the right hand playing the 'e' only.

this is very hard piece, angle of chamber music. i think the marimba player playing too lumpy...
