U know John Hartigan looks like Max Payne in max payne 3 for ps3, old and wise guy, the strong and silent man, thats a real hero, i love sin city, i cant wait for the second part, also i think is the only movie from comics&games who looks 100% like the original, max payne movie is not bad at all but they fucked that legendary game(one of the greatest games ever made) like resident evil,games =pure art, movies(sucks).

I hate to rain on this parade, Obviously a lot of people agree with you. Which tends to get a bad reaction for people who disagree no matter what. But I don't see the point. In my case it actually would have been kind of offensive, that's not what the game looked like (unlike Mad World or something). They already deviated enough, it would have been better than the sucky colors the chose. I just don't like the sound. They should have gone realistic (and slightly 70's retro). IMO

I dont know who made the Max Payne movie but i dont care that much who made it because the movie became bad. Allthough i haven´t seen it but i think that i never will either. Maybe i have too many prejudices but i have a feeling that the movie is bad just by looking at the trailer, maybe it sounds stupid to you but...

The game was so damn good and awesome. There are actually no words for the game, i dont know where to start.

Oh that kinda hurts to hear that. Well do i have to say it once again that the game itself was just pure awesome and as you meantioned, great story. About that story, i think i'ts the best story of all the games i've played, well maybe Call of Duty 4 MW and MW 2 allthough it isn't real and not Max payne either but you know what i mean don't you? :)

i agree the max payne movie was a dissapointment, they had the storyboards from the game they could of used for reference shots, and story from the game was perfect, but they dumbed it down tweaked the story, and made it a mediocre movie, they even left out several important people that were important to the plot in the game. Such as Vinnie, valdamir, and alfred woden.

I saw the Max Payne. It was very good. they isnt any supernatureal things at all. it gives tons more insight that expands from teh game. very good movie. you wont understand it unless you played both games. its one of the few movies made from a game that are actually good.

It's amazing how much the stuff actually goes together. Little things. Like at 1:13, the knife and the quiet guitar note going together. And at 2:13 - the car falls in the water, and the two splashes go together perfectly with the short guitar riff that starts.
