and one more thing: any one who thinks that the EU and its entire impetus (from the banksters to the communist 'news media) has the European peoples interest in mind, is way beyond naive, passed stupid and drooling somewhere in the region of idiocy...
god bless Farage! speaking strictly for myself as an american and a big Ron Paul supporter, i'm thinking Farage may be just about as important to England (and truly the whole world) as Ron Paul is for America and the whole world... unless of course you think a hellish technocratic rerun of WWIII is a good thing... I hope that more Europeans (many already do) see how important Ron Paul is to the world and not just America... god help us...
Try to not join the EEA. It's a trap. We Norwegians don't like it at all! What you should do, is that you should create the trade agreement we had during the 70-90s. That was a good trade and we didn't need to take on EU laws. Just a hint of advice.
Nigel, along with Mrs. Thatcher, you are my most respected politician. I can honestly say without one moment of hesitation that I would trust you with our great nation in your hands!
All Cameron said is a repetition of the faded & dusty High Tory position I heard from Douglas Hurd 20 years ago, i.e. "let the Germans & the French be the EU visionaries, & the English be the subtle craftsmen shaping its practical institutions" to our liking
To me this too clever by 1/2 idea sounded then like the Germans/French being on the bridge of the ship as Captain & Navigator, & the English being stuck down with the boilers in the engine room .... on the R.M.S. Titanic
The corrupt communistic E.U., coupled with the debt ridden Euro need to be thrown on the rubbish heap of history and the top unelected E.U. crooks need to be audited.
David Cameron said 'If Britain left the EU, we would find ourselves in the position of Norway, where we could not actually decide ourselves on the rules that would affect British INDUSTRY'
Lets blow this EU monster to hell were it belongs. It was set up by socialists and communists 50 years ago, the world ave moved on and Europe is still caught in this BS plan. Solve it now:, forgetaboutit. !!
Here in Portugal, the trade argument is not frequent. As one economist put it, if Portugal closed its borders tomorrow, 75% of all our needs would be fulfilled
Let's just say our politicians have delusions of grandeur, and an appetite for big "tachos" :)
Well the EEA gives us many damn laws from the EU to Norway which we, the people, don't have a say, but our politicians, who love the EU, do get a say and they say yes, BUT we can trade with the EU without being part if the EEA and we don't need the laws that come from Brussels. If the EEA falls, then the trade agreement from the 70s come back and we can trade with them just like USA, Switzerland and the rest of the world.
@Finni100 This was what I was looking for! Well, not exactly here, just looking in general.
A Norwegian saying what happens in their country. And I'm glad to see there is the common sense that Free Trade is now international - there is almost no need for special trade agreements under WTO rules.
Remember one thing. Join EFTA not the EEA. It's like being in the EU, with a few exceptions like Nigel said. I think the hole EU thing is pretty stupid. I don't know ONE SINGLE FUCKING Norwegian who like the EU except for our politicians! 70% of all Norwegians say no to the EU and 77-80% or more of all youths say no!
Eurosceptics in France get the same kind of bullshit argument that if we leave the EU, suddenly trade with other European countries would tragically stop. The fact of the matter is that France, the UK, Germany and whatnot would obviously still have a healthy economic trade for the simple reason that we are the richest countries in Europe, so the rest of Europe (and the world) would be daft to stop trading with us. We don't need the EU to have economic and diplomatic relations with the world!
@UnionHypocrisy I maybe exaggerated. EU defenders don't say France would stop having economic relations with other countries if it weren't in the EU, but they heavily imply that France couldn't survive without the EU, like we're too weak to have our own sovereign economy. Because of their rhetoric, many people are scared to leave the EU because they believe their bullshit. What I'm saying is that France and the UK are obviously rich enough to be respected without the EU.
and one more thing: any one who thinks that the EU and its entire impetus (from the banksters to the communist 'news media) has the European peoples interest in mind, is way beyond naive, passed stupid and drooling somewhere in the region of idiocy...

@Wotanraven That is stupid! They can't even stop trading with you, because France is in the WTO and so is the EU and all it's members!
