Its not fair that they harass your channel without offering an international viewing. Copyright infringement is very true, but when you do not allow others to watch your material through legal pathways, you create a large group of people relying on other methods. I waited a long, loooong time to watch "I Love You Phillip Morris" in the theater, but when they cancel the release the fourth time, I found it online. I had given up. Now it might be released in December. We'll see.
I feel Emmerdale has portrayed gay men better than any other TV program I have ever seen. I identified a lot with Aarons story and i think the writers have been fantastic at portraying Aaron and Jackson as normal lads who are non stereotypical. Jackson is also a refreshing character, he is so relaxed at being gay and just getting on with life... a true inspiration. Danny Miller's acting has been absolutely outstanding. Emmerdale writers put to shame the sham of a gay storyline that is on H'oaks.

You chance change your proxy access on your web browser to UK and than the ITV player works just fine. So you can still catch the show on the web site. As well it seems that some third party providers of show have been allowed to upload full versions of the show and can as well watch those. The let down is no one showed only the Aaron story has Jay did or as Kimba is currently doing so.

Same problem happened with Eastenders - the person uploading just switched channels and requests that no names are mentioned - just initials. Seems to be working. It is ridiculous for these orgs to be limiting viewership when they get so much positive PR from it.

There is a also every chance that Jackson will be just fine. I am aware that it is best to prepare for every eventuality but to merely focus on the negative is defeatist. Not every person who breaks his neck is permanently paralized. There is no way to know the outcome of this accident until Jackson starts to heal. The body can do amazing things. We have to hope until there is no more hope, and then, hope some more.

Gay storylines are getting so generic and predictable recently... If there is anyone here that watches 'As The World Turns', the gay couple in that both went through similar situations as Jackson and Aaron, at one point one of them was shot and ended up in a wheelchair, but eventually learnt to walk again, and another time one of them went blind due to a work incident... He also eventually regained his eyesight due to surgery. I reckon Jackson will be fine in the end...

I foresee more reluctance from Jackson to accept the help, so, Aaron will have to hang tough. After Jackson gets it that Aaron is not doing it out of pity or a sense of duty (er., guilt) - then is when Aaron should tell Jackson he loves him and Jackson will believe it.
now see.. i don't see Jackson giving a red light in this at all.. I think he is wary yes as it should be but I don't think he will turn Aaron away. I think the real issue is wether Aaron feels he can find the strength and courage to deal with this situation head on. @jodezak I would have to disagree. Most of those that lose mobility - regardless to their demeanor before redraw. It's a catastrophic lose not easily dealt with. When my dad had his stroke, he refused help from both me and my mom, claiming he was half a man - ect. If you remember at the bar, Jackson told Marlon that he loved what he did and couldn't image anything else. Think the writers were setting up the self pity, self sufficient SL. Aaron has already found the strength.
I hear what your saying.. but My uncle was a quadrapalegic.. and yes he had his moments but quickly came to grips with his situation and new he could never turn away someone that was willing to make the effort to be by his side. It was a sad story yes.. but in the end.. they had a happy life of 50 years. I hope Jackson comes to grip with his situation and knows he has to move forward and shows Aaron he wont walk away from him.. with him doing that ..

The doctors seem to be actig very weird in this...... I dont get why they didnt warn everyone before Jackson even woke up about the fact he could be paralyzed, just the fact they didnt say he'd broken his neck is bad. Mind u I dont get how they didnt kinda realise that he had broken his neck considering he is in a 'halo' what did they think it was there for decoration.
I swear no one can turn on the "waterworks" like Danny does. I have read and heard that it is one of the hardest things for actors to do. Danny can have tears in no time flat. He is once again showing his incredible acting talents with the current SL of Jackson in the hospital. This and the coming out with Paddy are classic events in this awesome Emmerdale show.
What did they get new writer's or something, Aaron's feelings are coming to light and he really shows them. The other writer is right, things are steaming up and the show seems shorter and shorter. All I can say is keep up the good work.
@skyhawk36 I was wondering the same thing. It almost seems like the writing has an undergone a marked and noticeable turn for the better. If I was pushed to say when I thought I first noticed it, I think it would be when they returned from their vacation. I am going to have to see what I can find out about this, you have piqued my interest.
It look like it's going to be the whole Luke & Noah storyline form ATWT ,I thought British soaps were much better than this ,but it seems that they're becoming more like American TV !
@catman1560 It's impossible for me to understand the need for comparison. The storyline is completely different, character motivation absolutely different, setting couldn't be further dissimilar if you tried, and in fact the whole storyline base miles apart. The only thing I can find the slightest bit familiar is the tired and inaccurate complaint.

They asked for information about their son and boyfriend and the doctor sits there beating around the bush instead of telling them what she knew. I wanted to literally reach through the screen and shake her. She was very annoying!

ok--so I finally got caught up and all I can say is WOW!!! Keep the drama coming. This story just keeps getting better and better. When Jackson made the comment in the bar to Marlon about loving his physical job, being outside, being fit, I figured this was coming. Though I have to say, as a person with a disability myself, I am thrilled that they are going to take this issue on. I can't wait to see what they do with it.
@wphansen3 Good memory. I had forgotten about that. It is nice to see that the writers have continuity in the story line. I find I am cringing at the direction the story line is going. I'm sure it will be well written but physical recuperation from traumatic accidents is never an easy road.
@wphansen3 I agree its a good story line especially that they have gone for the Quad thing and not just para.... all we can hope is that it is done properly for once and that he dosnt make a wonderful miraclous recovery in like 3 weeksand back to work in 4!!!!!!! It will be intresting to see how they handle it. :)

if you have not checked out the storyline from a few years ago check out john paul and craig brillliant storyline on holyoaks and played by James sutton ( Ryan ) and guy burnett absalutly briliantly acted by like these 2 straight actors and James sutton was amazing as john paul and jaydawg125 uploaded those as well top marks jay

There is a also every chance that Jackson will be just fine. I am aware that it is best to prepare for every eventuality but to merely focus on the negative is defeatist. Not every person who breaks his neck is permanently paralized. There is no way to know the outcome of this accident until Jackson starts to heal. The body can do amazing things. We have to hope until there is no more hope, and then, hope some more.

when i say ashamed my dad was just like jacksons and i know i would have gotten the beating of a lifetime when i was 21 . i did tell mam and she told me to not tell dad as she knew what would happen so like a coward i hid i wish i had the strength like jackson did and just say it but i couldnt and that was 20 yrs ago stupid or what.. but i am now 42 and ive eventualy found the strength to tell people i care about and they have been ok even dad .mind he is 65 now and i think i could out run him

God I hope he will be ok if not here comes chris tates wheelchair out of storage this whole storyl gave me the strength to come out and i do thank emmerdale for showing me there are worse things than being gay for which i was ashamed of but no more i was an idiot and now i am just being me and i hope this storyline has a positive outcome as i would like to see these 2 have some good times i know in soapland it will end but not just yet as i would like to see aaron tell Jackson that he loves him

Gay storylines are getting so generic and predictable recently... If there is anyone here that watches 'As The World Turns', the gay couple in that both went through similar situations as Jackson and Aaron, at one point one of them was shot and ended up in a wheelchair, but eventually learnt to walk again, and another time one of them went blind due to a work incident... He also eventually regained his eyesight due to surgery. I reckon Jackson will be fine in the end...

If you TRULY love someone, you do whatever it takes. "In sickness and in health" is one of the defining precepts of love. And I believe Aaron will step up to the plate. I foresee more reluctance from Jackson to accept the help, so, Aaron will have to hang tough. After Jackson gets it that Aaron is not doing it out of pity or a sense of duty (er., guilt) - then is when Aaron should tell Jackson he loves him and Jackson will believe it.

I think the real issue is wether Aaron feels he can find the strength and courage to deal with this situation head on. @jodezak I would have to disagree. Most of those that lose mobility - regardless to their demeanor before redraw. It's a catastrophic lose not easily dealt with. When my dad had his stroke, he refused help from both me and my mom, claiming he was half a man - ect. If you remember at the bar, Jackson told Marlon that he loved what he did and couldn't image anything else. Think the writers were setting up the self pity, self sufficient SL. Aaron has already found the strength.

I hear what your saying.. but My uncle was a quadrapalegic.. and yes he had his moments but quickly came to grips with his situation and new he could never turn away someone that was willing to make the effort to be by his side. It was a sad story yes.. but in the end.. they had a happy life of 50 years. I hope Jackson comes to grip with his situation and knows he has to move forward and shows Aaron he wont walk away from him.. with him doing that ..

The doctors seem to be actig very weird in this...... I dont get why they didnt warn everyone before Jackson even woke up about the fact he could be paralyzed, just the fact they didnt say he'd broken his neck is bad. Mind u I dont get how they didnt kinda realise that he had broken his neck considering he is in a 'halo' what did they think it was there for decoration.

I swear no one can turn on the "waterworks" like Danny does. I have read and heard that it is one of the hardest things for actors to do. Danny can have tears in no time flat. He is once again showing his incredible acting talents with the current SL of Jackson in the hospital. This and the coming out with Paddy are classic events in this awesome Emmerdale show.

What did they get new writer's or something, Aaron's feelings are coming to light and he really shows them. The other writer is right, things are steaming up and the show seems shorter and shorter. All I can say is keep up the good work.

If I was pushed to say when I thought I first noticed it, I think it would be when they returned from their vacation. The storyline is completely different, character motivation absolutely different, setting couldn't be further dissimilar if you tried, and in fact the whole storyline base miles apart. The only thing I can find the slightest bit familiar is the tired and inaccurate complaint.

When Jackson made the comment in the bar to Marlon about loving his physical job, being outside, being fit, I figured this was coming. Though I have to say, as a person with a disability myself, I am thrilled that they are going to take this issue on. I can't wait to see what they do with it.

@wphansen3 Good memory. I had forgotten about that. It is nice to see that the writers have continuity in the story line. I find I am cringing at the direction the story line is going. I'm sure it will be well written but physical recuperation from traumatic accidents is never an easy road.

i am so impressed with this show for being a soap and still not having Jackson reciting poetry 10 mins after he woke up like soaps usually do...and what an emotional bit from 5:56 to 8:37 ....when Aaron walked in with that smile in his face i couldn't hold back the tears and i usually hardly cry because of tv :)
