I'm a huge 10cc fan. One of the reasons is their ability to write wonderful melodies and sing with great harmonies. But...... When you get past that and listen to the lyrics, you realize that they're usually goofing on people, places and things. Some of the words are downright hysterical.
They are simply one of the most underrated bands of all time.
"Marriage Bureau Rendezvous" is a classic 10cc song. "I was stinkin' so good like I'm drowin' in a sea of cologne". Greatness.
"Deceptive Bends" is a classic example of the right album at the right point in my life. I don't know what it was about this CD that was so hypnotizing to me at my young h.s. age, but it was just that. I was never a huge 10cc fan before it, nor afterwards. But this CD clobbered me w/ jewels like this song that had even my friends asking "who is this?" Memories are vivid when listening to this era. Thanks ANNIE!

Love it even more. I listen to it more from start to finish now than when I was younger. And the sound of the CD is superb.
