those who don't know what cynthia's pokemon are, here is the list: spiritomb, ghost/dark , roserade, grass/poison, lucario, fighting/steel, gastrodon, water/ground, milotic, water type, and last, garchomp, dragon/ground.

I don't know if this is a hack, glitch or other computer error, but when i was playing my gold version, right before i faced the elite four. I had to face my rival again but only with lance's battle music. someone please tell me! because i am very concerned about my gold version, it was not only a gift for christmas, it was also the first pokemon game that i ever recieved.

NO, the physical special split of Gen 4 was probably the best thing that could happen to pokemon, especially for us die hard battle fans, it adds a lot more team options. Also (while RBY will always have the best champion theme and therefore the best song) R/S/E have some solid tracks as do Black and White, (D/P/Pl are ok songwise)

1 - D/P/Pl - I get chills everytime when I hear the piano intro. It's beautiful, totally translates the sensation of for the first time walking in the champion chamber and discovering that Cynthia is the champion. About the battle theme, do I even need to say anything? It's even greater!

2 - R/B/Y - Epicness squared.

3 - G/S/C - Epicness.

4 - R/S/E - I sincerely can't hear the pre-fight theme without laughing. The battle theme btw is the kind of music that seriously pumps me up.

Hehe they sure no how to put emotions into the battle music.

Generation I: Starts out tense, and slightly darker, I mean this your childhood friend youre fighting, then it gets sort of upbeat, kind of like, you both made it to the top, then back intense like you can't stop thinking about the past.

Generation II: Is both tense and exciting. Youre battling a person who you helped take down team rocket, in a way he is your mentor, a person you can look up too, and hes the Champ.

Generation III: This trainer is one youve seen many times, but you still dont know much about him. The music is very upbeat, that youre enjoying that youre finally battling this person, as almost everyone you ran into youve battled with or against, except for this man.

You have to hunt him down in the bottom of an optional cave. His team is much higher leveled, and he's more monstorous than before. Hunt him down and enjoy yourself.

Even though I had a dragon type myself and a few ice attacks but I still got destroyed...I've been training my Red Gyrados (Caught with a Net Ball or whatever) to be stronger and increase her (Yes my Red Gyrados is a girl) Ice Beam's PP so it can be used more often.
