why is every trainer in the world obsessed with teaching the step back jumper? I have every shot JJ Redick ever made in college, and he shot a total of about 10 step backs his entire career and most of those were not until his SR year at Duke. Kids should spend their time mastering a quick 1-2 pullup. If you teach them step backs, thats all they will do because it is a fun move to do. Unfortunately, it happens very rarely in a game, even from pros. Same applies for jab step shot.
