  • love this-have this-seen ozric 3 times live-partied backstage with the guys in nashville in 2003

  • great..love ozric tentacles...as i loved gong...

  • I thought i'll never be able to see them live....but i'm moving to london this year AND I CAN!!! HAHAHAA I'M GONNA SMOKE A FUCKING JOINT WHEN THE CONCERT BEGINS

  • what song is at the beginning?

  • @thieverycorp24 When they're waling out, the song is called 'Chinatype' off the 'Afterswish' collection. Let's see Ed's wife come up with a bassline like the one in 'Oddentity' at 3:28.

  • Ozric all the way ....Trippy stuff thanks for posting this thing ...

  • Im glad I got to see them before the flute guy left (whats his name?)

  • good work dude not been into the ozzies since 92...reawakened some old memories thanks

  • l wanna jam with these trippi dudes raaa.

  • Wish i could have been around to get my hands on some curious corn when it came out.

  • I love the way they enter the gig like anybobdy else!Classic.

  • huh?

  • I used to know these guys when I was a child back in 1994-5, and there still amazing!

  • I saw these guys last night in Rochester, NY of all places and I can say that I am nothing less than musically enlightened!!!!!

  • check out Melting Euphoria. They are very similar to Ozric Tentacles. I also want to recommend to you Michael Tsarion on the youtube. He is the worlds premier conspiracy author/lecturer. Leo Zagami, Dr. Bill Deagle, Alan Watt, Jordan Maxwell and Alexandre Dumas pere are conpiracy experts of good quality.

  • How was the lineup? First time I saw them in Finland it was like on this vid, Jon on flute, Seaweed on keys etc., just great! Last time in Roadburn, a couple of years ago, Ed's wife on the bass there, the gig wasn't that convincing.

  • Bass player Zia Geelani was one of the kids imprisoned in a cage in Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom. True.

  • AMAZING

  • loving it! makes me want to pick my flute up and jam out with it. gotta get with it again.

    ozric is the sweetness!

  • I am DIGGING THIS!

  • I wonder what would happen if they jammed with Steve Howe or Wakeman. Just curious to see what they would come up with

  • If you only knew just how awsesome the Tenticles really are> Ed is by far one of the greatest musical minds since ZAPPA ! go ozrics!!!!

  • 5:18 ! ;D

  • Ferny....Tig?

  • What can I say other than...amazing

  • hanno fatto di meglio...

  • My mum went out with ike the first dummer of this band. :)

  • drop a tab and go see em live its great

  • fu#k me awsome

  • freekin hell this is so good

  • to me they give me such a good feeling an emotion...very spiritual.

  • Retard

  • idiot...it is music but a square like you wouldn't understand...go smoke a bowl and listen to it

  • what is this song called? I want to have it! Anyone?

  • Oddentity

    the album is Curious Corn

  • thx!

  • its on my list

  • The first part is an improv jam intro, I think. The second part is the song "Oddentity."

If you like this, you can't go wrong with anything they've done since the cassette-only release days.

  • the very first part is the introduction to "chinatype".

ps... the cassette only releases were the band at their best... IMHO!!

  • For even deeper and more psychedelic Space Rock, check Hawkwind. :D

  • Hawkwind, yeah! very underrated if you ask me, as are the Ozrics

  • I saw them @ Glasto Fest in '92 and loved them ever since. Funny how things turn out, I met and worked with the guy that did their visuals for this tour, Magic Mike - Mental Projections. I sat back stage with Ozrics @ the Phoenix in Exeter and they cracked me up big time.

  • Cool. Loved them since 80s, wish i`d met them then, i was offered tickets when they came to sheffield and backed by none other than the magic mushroom band, but i was too lunched out to go, say no more, kicked myself ever since

  • before i ever get high, i always make sure that i can listen to the ozrics ^^

  • What an excellent band. I heard them for the first time on US radio, on XM 76 Satellite. It may indeed be the only american airplay they get, far as I know. Too bad really; then again I think the spoiled American music scene (currently, perhaps irretreivably) is far too manufactured and disposable. Lets keep this gem to ourselves and fans who get it, yes? :)

  • good!!!

  • They are all stoned... funny ^^

I like the ozrics, very trippy and atmospheric

  • Amazing..... I could only imagine what it would be like on.....you name it

  • my favourite, absolutely :)

  • go ozrics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • greatest! =)

  • Fucking burning.

  • espaciales especiales

  • ozerics are one of the greatest bands ever i love the acid space rock psychedelic progressive style awesome

  • they were incredible live. especially cos i was backstage with eds son and they gave me free weed and beers. theyre such safe lovely guys and theyre musical genius's!!!!

thank you ozerics for being so awesome..

im gunna jam with his son on saturday and then to the pub :D. well looking forward

  • extra fuckin cool !

  • glastonbury 1995 rockin man

  • Can't speak for the keyboards....but Dream Theater's legendary drummer Mike Portnoy is a BIG fan of Ozric Tentacles....he even has a copy of the incredibly scarce "Vitamin Enhanced" cereal box-set that was recalled.

  • Bien grifo escuchando a los Ozrics!

Que viaje, escuchar un tema como ''Akasha''....

    Unicos e increibles Ozrics.

  • aun sigue vijente el rock psicodeliko...acid rock hermano

  • I fucking love these guys! I've been listening to the Ozrics for almost 15 years now. What a fun life those dudes have. Thanks for posting this video.

  • LA RAJAAAAAAAA, LOS AMO.

  • Their music can best be described as psychedelic fusion based progressive instrumental madness

  • Great drummer. How would you classify there music?

  • Psychedelic rock

  • Dare I even mention the word fusion??

  • remember Popeye, John?

  • I've got a few dozen great live shows :)

  • can someone fill me in on why the keyboardist and the frontman guy with the flute look exactly the same? sorry if i sound ignorant.

  • dreadlocks...

  • it's ok. they are brothers. I'm not sure if they are twins or something. But i know they are blood brothers at least.

  • buenissima banda !!!

    saluos

  • Long winded techno crusties. They probably spend their spare time making crop circles while listening to Steve Hillage or Utopia.

  • Singing "City in my head, Utopia." Or..."I'm walking on the land but my mind is under the see" Hillage Green.

  • Singing "City in my head, Utopia." Or..."I'm walking on the land but my mind is under the see" Hillage Green.

  • aaaaaaa love this!

  • dream theater can eat shit

  • La raja esta banda!

  • Jeez brings back memories. I have a couple of tapes lying at the bottom of a drawer waiting to be digitised or a trip back to Blighty to get a CD of some description

  • Does somebody knows a song called "Bolshen" or something like that?

  • Yeah, its on the new cd, also if you got to their Myspace and dig about a bit (you'll see what i mean) you can find a decent snippet of it. Its a great tune.

  • it's bolshem...beautiful tune no? john

  • ill!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stronger than Rush.

  • As a huge Rush fan, I have to say I don't find them better than the Ozrics, just different. There is a subtlety and craftmanship to the Ozrics' arrangements that don't always catch the ear first time around; the same could be said for Rush, though some of their music is more readily accessible than the Ozrics'. Some Ozrics numbers take time to develop, but they reward the patient listener. Like Rush, the Ozrics are also first-rate musicians, and we are lucky to have both bands.
