I am SOO sad about Bea Arthur's death!! I'm 19, and I have been religiously watching The Golden Girls since I was at least 5....and Dorothy has always been my favorite Golden Girl!! And she was such a wonderful person, not to mention an extraordinary actress!! We'll all miss you!! R.I.P Bea Arthur!!

I know what you mean,. I am nearly thrice your age, have been watching Bea since her days on "Maude" when I was 14, now some 36 years ago.

And it seems like "The Golden Girls" have never been off the air, even after the show ceased production of new episodes in 1992, thanks to syndication, then Lifetime,, and now the Hallmark Channel.

There was something comforting about knowing that show was always on everyday, sometimes mornings, afternoons, evenings & overnight, whatever one's schedule.
