There was in fact many, many big signs clearly stating that pictures are NOT to be taken INSIDE the buildings, ESPECIALLY not inside the gas chambers. So on that note: Shame on you.
I wasn't in Auschwitz but i was in Mauthausen and there wasn't any restrictions for making photos.
Moreover i dont think, that the reason for the signs is, that they dont want that the people become disrespectfull but rather that the cameras dont disrupt the people who are mourning .... Furthermore he is filming the gas chambers as I saw it right ....

Listen...until you visit Auschwitz then i doubt you have much of an agrgument with me.
The signs are there to tell people they are entering a place where millions died. Why would people want souvenirs like that?

i dont know why people want souveniers like these but you can ask them because im sure that 90 % take photos of things which are quite similar...
fact is that in my opion it wasn't disrespectful to take photos in this situation....
