Swingtown RULES! And it wasn't about infidelity - it was about LOVE and reality. Bruce and Susan were no longer a proper match and they both knew it and both of them had opportunities to be with better matches. It happens, and it's a hell of a lot smarter than staying married to someone you don't want to be married to just because whoever thinks that's how it should be. I loved every single character on this show - I've watched the series 4 times!
@robbiesheik I used to like Josh Hopkins before i MET him. Seriously guys when two marrried people who not married to each other get it on, that's bad
@RocketGirlist: That is fine, you are entitled to your own opinion. I met him too and had a different expirience I guess. As to the 2 married people thing, it was just a story. Nothing about it was promoting infidelity .
I don't watch many shows, but this one pulled me in from day 1. It should have been on cable where it would have had a shot at success. It was doomed from the start being on a network like procedural, geriatric attracting CBS.
I might be in the minority here, but I really liked Janet by the end. She didn't deserve to be screwed over by her husband and best friend. I wish we could have seen how everything turned out.
i saw a publicity shot of this show and i really thought it was really from the 70s...i gotta hand it to the makers of this show...the whole look of it is so authentic i actually thought it was the 70s!
I absolutely love Swingtown, and I've been hoping that Roger and Susan would get together. They make a wonderful couple!! There is talk on the fanboards that Swingtown might move to cable ... I hope this show returns :-)
Ah Swingtown was about love. Anyone who doesn't understand that might as well just open your bible and stay home.
