Bull! Macs are way more than just some expensive computer. It's expensive because it can out perform a PC in every way with the need of extras you have to buy other places. Graphics, ram, memory, you name it, Mac out performs. I haven't heard jack about a PC that has 78% more pixels than any HD tv, nearly zero threat of a virus and any actual innovation.

Google Chrome, the fastest and safest browser out there is not available on the Mac and there are millions of apps that don't work on Macs but do on PCs. That's part of the reason that Macs don't have security threats as much, there are barely any third party apps that work on them so there is lees of a chance that said third party app will give them a virus.

Programmers write their applications to target certain people. Just because an application isn't written for Mac OS X doesn't really say much to how "good" the operating system is. In my opinion Mac OS is way easier to write for since Apple works their asses off to make all the API's modern. Its not like Windows where you can still write programs with the Windows 95 API's. Again, thats my opinion, not fact!

And Macs only have a few threats because the amount of Macs is much less than that of PCs so its less cost effective to work up more and more better ways to hack Macs than to hack PCs. Macs do not even come close to out performing PCs. Go to a MacBook Pro, find a moderately priced one ($1,500 or so) and find a PC of many other brands with the same specs. You are buying the brand when you buy most Macs.
