My goodness! What a performance! Meatloaf and Steinman are the best combination ever. I have not heard a Jim Steinman song that I don't just love. I haven't heard Meatloaf do a Steinman song that wasn't excellent. This duo will live forever
Steinman is such a beautiful piano player and composer,we hear about Joel and Elton all the time, but why is this guy not mentioned so much, because he is incredibly good to listen to.
@Zephyesa Because he is better at outlining piano parts. On the album Roy Bittan actually played. As well, there are many piano players that don't get enough recognition: Nicky Hopkins (Rolling Stones and The Who), Billy Powell (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Larry Knechtel (Bridge Over Troubled Water), Rick Wakeman (Yes), Richard Wright (Pink Floyd), to name a few
@Stein1982 Im 19 so I was 1 when it came out. But I listen to it all day now. Best album by a long way. Every song on it is a classic, perhaps except Jim's monologue :P
Just the perfect duo : )

Lovely. Brings me back to 94-95, when all I did was listen to Bat II. Fantastic version.

I got this on a CD I got from echo records in 1995. It just had 'Unlicensed Meat Loaf Recording' or something on the label, it was this concert

Great Song. That´s why "The Monster is loose" will never be a "Bat" album. Songs like this ( not to mention all songs of "Bat I " ) are missing.
