Where do you get the spiral sketch book with the thick paper. I can't seem to find one.

Hi, that is a canson field drawing book, 90 lb paper. The last one I found was at Michaels (art & craft store). I wish they were more available; such good paper.

I saw them at Barnes and Noble - I believe they were made by Canson. You just need to page thru them to compare the paper.

I really like the large coptic bound journal, and the composition book with the manilla folders looks great. I've seen them before and thought of trying to make one. I agree with what you said about the big coil! They do interrupt the flow.

I wish I could remember where I saw that manilla folder idea ... Esther Smith's book on bookmaking has a lot of ideas along these lines.

I think that the file folder is called "manilla" or "oak tag" maybe? I'm sure the states could supply the whole world over with old file folders :)
