  • It's not bad, but Jeff Buckley was much better on Live At Sin-é.

Ps. Dink was an African woman who sung the song first in 1908

  • Dear Mama

At least you know it's a Slave song.

I'm not so sure this guy has the lyrics right.

(I'm not sure that I do either, but at least the song is out there.)

  • a "dink" is someone driving in front of you really slow.

  • 1) I am that guy driving 'really slow' in front of you.

    2) It's a Slave song.

    3) Do ya feel better now?

    Love, Jesus

  • So i hear u no "azureritereaction"

  • yur0wn, i have absolutely no idea how you even found this video.

unless by some bizarre chance you actually know john which kinda wouldn't surprise me because john knows everyone haha

  • Whoa. O.o. I remember watching this video, but I have absolutely no idea how I came across it, and I really don't know why I left that stupid comment..

  • yo, go to my profile and look at an interview i did of john a while back; you'll have to click on "view all videos" on my profile to see it cuz it's not in my top 9.

  • I like Dylan's version, but I love Buckley's. Very good cover, here.

  • It's not Dylan's song! Dylan probably got it off Dave Van Ronk - or Carolyn Hester. The song was collected by John Lomax - from a woman called Dink!

  • Great rhythm John and great voice !!

  • Great cover man. You don't see this one floating around many places...good on you.:)
