Christian women are supposed to cover their head, according to 1 Corinthians 11, but it doesn't say how much hair is to be covered. I just started covering recently, but I always show my bangs, because I do not want to look like a Muslim....I want to glorify Jesus Christ in all that I do, and to portray yourself in a way that makes you seem like someone of another faith does not represent Him in the right manner at all. A simple bandana or long scarf wrapped pashmina style would work fine.

@Re5Publica Have you considered the idea of her living in a country were it's required to wear hijab? She may be married to a muslim man and chose to make this tutorial for other western women, to help them if they are to travel to a country were the laws require hijab or more.
I am not muslim, but use hijab on occasions, like going to my friends house, where I use the hijab as respect to their parents.
Think a little bit first before accusing her. I find her video very helpful. :)

Three young teenage girls and an older Muslim woman were murdered just recently in Kingston, Ontario, Canada because they didn't want to wear the hijab-they wanted freedom but their mother, brother and father all killed them.
Last year a 16 year old girl in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada was murdered by her father and brother because she did not want to wear the hijab.
Muhammad taught killing and child sex-that's the kind of religion you want?

I've worn this style before, but covering my eyebrows was a bit much, and it isn't required to cover them, so I don't. Actually, the niqab is only required of women with 'exceptional' beauty; I'm not into being a fanatic of anything... even my religion.

I'm not trying to tell you what to think. I was just pointing out that your opinion doesn't really have a place here; clearly the woman in this video is not being forced to wear it. Please don't insult me, I'm not stupid and I know that women are treated badly in some Islamic countries but the hijab is not always used in such a way. It's very important to care about human rights but don't be so generalistic. Nothing wrong with manners. People are likely to take you seriously if you are polite.
