But then, ever since that original death scene and his ressurection in the movie, it's been a pretty standard ploy for all transformers to kill optimus, then bring him back later, so the emotional factor is somewhat mooted.

@GojyotheFeared In my opinion, the Optimus death scene in Armada is not too heartbreaking as it was in the Transformers 1986 movie... That's just me anyway... However, I do find Starscream's demise in TF Armada very shocking... Probably because Starscream was never portrayed as the "sacrificing type" in any of the other transformers series... It was a new approach for all of us... ^.^
