It is a pretty sweet job and it is a very important component to any office function.

All the people here calling receptionist work "crap jobs' simply need to get over themselves. It is good honest work and nothing wrong with it. I have TWO BA degrees and I've done this work for over a decade and I love my job! I'd say in these tough economic times one should heed the words of the Desiderata which reads in part "Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time."

"Crap job"....as you watch high-salary people around you being fired routinely. Not a crap job at all. It's like an occupational "bomb shelter".

yea its funny this program is maybe at most 20 weeks , however people do 2-4 years simply becuz the higher the education the higher change of work....
